George could hear Dream's loud screaming and cries, everything was slowed. George felt the sharp pain hit his stomach as he looked over at Dream, his eyes falling shut. The blurred image of Dream ran over to him, shaking him as he sobbed into George's chest. George's heart stopped beating.

Dream shook him.

"Earth to George!" Dream said, waving his hand in front of George's eyes as George finally came back to reality. "Finally, what reality did you go to?"

Dream burst out into a loud wheeze, but stopped when he seen George's face in a state of pure confusion and panic.

"You ok?" Dream asked, concerned as he brought George close to him.

George felt tears welling up in his eyes, he grasped his shirt tight, lifting it too look at his stomach. No mark. George grabbed his neck, his hands shakily feeling around. Nothing.

"George, what's wrong? You're scaring me."

George tried to speak but no words could come out, just small sounds.

"What happened?" George finally said after a long, eerie silence.

"You zoned out. What do you mean what happened?"

"What happened before I zoned out?"

"You said you'd like to die here, rested your head on my chest and then went silent. I thought you'd fallen asleep but your eyes were still open."

George took a minute to process what had just happened, was it just a vision? A dream?

"What time is it?" George asked, staring right into Dream's eyes.

"1am, why?" Dream replied, watching as George's shoulders loosened up.

"Nothing happened with Sap, no?"

"No? What would happen with Sap?

"I don't know."

George lied through his teeth at that moment, he wasn't sure what had just happened to him but he was confused and scared. Whatever it was felt too real, the sharp pain in his stomach was still there, piercing into him. How was he supposed to tell Dream he came up with this whole story in his head?

"Wanna sleep?" Dream asked, letting George crawl into his arms.

George nodded. He wasn't going to sleep there was too much on his mind. He was scared that if he went back to sleep, he would go back to that reality he just went through and be stuck there.

George started crying.

"Hey, it's okay. Try and get some rest, baby. We can talk in the morning."

George sniffled as Dream pulled him tighter and wiped his eyes with the sleeve of his hoodie. George rest his head on Dream's chest again, tucking his hands into the front pocket of Dream's hoodie. George listened to Dream's breathing as he fell asleep, while George stayed up. His mind wouldn't relax, there was no chance he would be able to sleep.

Being outside was more calming than George thought. He could hear crickets making a small sound that echoed quietly throughout the field and the wind gently pushing the leaves, making a small rustling sound. George felt peaceful and the thoughts in his head were finally easing, until Dream's phone started ringing.

George's heart beat faster.

Deja vu.

Dream stirred awake, lifting George off his chest and sliding his phone out of his pocket. George's face was pale, his heart was racing. His vision went blurry and his body began shaking. Dream put the phone to his ear, his whole facial expression changing.

"Fuck, fuck, fuck." George thought , tears gathering in his eyes as he watched Dream's face grow a worried look.

"Okay, Sapnap. Please, calm down! We're on the way back, hang in there!" Dream said, exactly as he did the first time. George's face dropped. Dream ended the call, jumping to his feet and running with George to where they had their car parked.

Everything was too similar.

Dream drove them back, George didn't know what to do apart from hope Sapnap asked them home for a different reason. Once again, Sapnap was on the sofa shaking and crying. Dream comforted Sapnap, George panicked. He knew it was Techno, Wilbur and Fundy but who would believe him? He did his best to comfort Sapnap.

"It's Techno." George blurted out, internally slapping himself as he seen the 2 turn to him.

"What?" They both said in sync, looking at each other in complete confusion and shock.
