I wake up, my eyes fluttering open, feeling myself shiver a tiny bit. It seems the sun has been hidden by the clouds and the air is turning cold again. That's unfortunate, it was a nice nap.
My hands are rested on the book which was still open but placed on my stomach. My head was still in his lap as i peered up to him. He was napping, his head against the tree.

What time is it?

I rub my eyes and sit up, keeping my eyes on him. I cup his face in my hand "Katsuki, we should probably head back"
He grumbles as he peaks his eyes open the smallest bit, his red irises meeting my e/c ones.
He lifts up his wrist and looks at his watch.
"Dammit how's it 2pm already?" His voice was slightly raspy.
His eye-line trails from my face and down my arm when he realised where my hand was. His eyes widen for a second and he clears his throat, sitting up which causes me to drop my arm.

"You should probably eat some lunch" He says simply as he stands up. I watch him closely, hoping to have stayed a bit longer.
"What? Need help standing? You're such a damsel" He smiles as he holds his hand out. I happily take it and he pulls me up.
"Thank you, kind sir"

Once we were back on our horses, we cantered back to the palace which didn't take very long.

We both jumped off of the girls and walked them back to the stable. As we did so, i noticed a fancy car was parked in the driveway, the licence plate being

T0D0 R0K1

I squint at the recognisable name but brush it off. Why is there even a car here? We don't have any.

"What are you gonna eat?"
"I don't know, honestly i'm not even that hungry"

We walk back to the palace, entering the tall walls once again.

However, instead of an empty hall we're greeted with both of my parents talking to a very tall red haired man and a red-white haired boy about my age.

"The fuck?" Bakugo asks out loud.
"Foul language" I hiss and he coughs awkwardly.
"Bakugo?" the boy asks.
"You know him?" I turn to face the blonde. Thinking about it, i swear i could recognise him too.
"Yeah... very well actually. Why the fu- why are you in a suit?" he scowls.
"I will have to say later"

"Oh! Y/N you're back." My mother smiles elegantly.
I'm quickly to change my shoes and join her side, exchanging looks with Katsuki.
"You remember Shoto right? You took a few young royal classes with him" she says all with a big grin on her face.
I blink multiple times, trying to think back to when i was younger. Suddenly, forgotten memories enter my head.

"Yes i do, though i was 4, mother" I say, forcing a smile.
"Isn't it lovely he's one of your suitors"
I hear a scoff from across the foyer from Katsuki.
"Beg your pardon?" I blurt out "I mean, it's wonderful, my apologies i wasn't expecting this"
"Nice to see you again" he says, blank faced.
"Likewise" I bow my head.

"Your daughter is magnificent, i hope my Shoto can woo her and make the family proud" The man says through his teeth.
I recognise him from one of the big screens in the city. Isn't he a big time hero? Why is he here?

After our parents catch-up where me and the dual-haired boy stood awkwardly in silence, me, him and Katsuki went outside to where Izuku and Kirishima were.
This was followed with more awkward silence as they stared at Shoto in confusion.

"The hell, man?" Kirishima asks "You were whisked away after graduation. We haven't heard from you in ages"
"I have a good reason" He says quietly as he takes a seat on one of the outdoor chairs.

We all watch him, waiting for an answer. I'm not as interested as them though and it probably isn't any of my business but i'm intrigued to know.

"My father is a Lord and had pushed away his duty until now. He had wanted to be the greatest hero but now he's realising his children are grown up and he needs heirs for the family so we're all being sent to other noble families." he mutters in disgust "He's hoping i will marry you though only for the family name and for me to become a prince"
He looks over at me.
"Just to spite my father, can you reject anything to do with marriage?"
"I was planning on it anyway" I laugh slightly.
"That is good then" He sighs.

"Can you imagine Prince Todoroki-kun?" Izuku says playfully.
"Obviously not. Because he's never going to be a price" Katsuki says loudly.
"Dude, chill out, we know that" Kirishima pats the blonde on his back.

"Half and half bastard, you've been lying all this time about wanting to be a hero, haven't you?" he leans down, glaring into his hetero chromatic eyes.
"No. I have wanted to be a hero from when i was young but it appears he wants me to marry and have children beforehand"
Bakugo scoffs and backs away "Imagine it, kids at 18. All for some stupid title"
"I have to agree" He murmurs, staring at the ground.

My eyes dart around in search for my parents in case they're watching. I was meant to be seeing my tutor that's helping me become more 'regal' but i didn't want to.

"We should probably stop huddling in a circle and get back to our duties" Izuku says nervously as Katsuki burns holes into everyone.

"For our sake, we should converse more to please our parents" Shoto stand from his seat. I nod, chewing the inside of my cheek slightly. We hook arms and for some reason it compels me to look back at Bakugo who's gritting his teeth.

Does he not like Shoto or is he jealous?

I shrug it off and walk with Shoto towards the rest of the garden.
