Skylar's POV:
It had been a week since Alec had come back home. It was amazing for the most part.
I still got nightmares. I still wouldn't eat properly and I began cutting again. It's okay though. I am happy. I have Alec.
"We need to get to school." Alec tells me, interrupting my thoughts.
Today was our first day back. I get up from the table and give him a kiss on the cheek.
"Morning to you too!"
"Come on. I don't wanna be late."
"Since when does the great Alec Smith care about school?"
"Since you missed like 2 months of your senior year."
"Let's go."
We head to the car and wait for Jay and Tyler. Ash and Taylor weren't riding with us today.
"What have we got first?" Alec asks.
"English."
"Greattttt" He says sarcastically.
"You're the one who wanted to go so badly." I laugh.
"I know." He intertwines his hand with mine and used his other to drive.
The first day back was okay. After school we decided to go to a diner. It was a friday so we didn't have school tomorrow.
"Can you hurry up!" Tyler whines.
"No."
"Why not?!"
"Because if he goes any faster he will go over the speed limit!" I say.
"So?! He owns a gang!"
"That doesn't stop him from getting into an accident! May I remind you that he is recovering from a bullet."
"Hurryyy I need food!" He ignores everything I just said.
Alec throws his head back in laughter.
"Stop being such a whiney bitch Ty"
"Hey!"
"We are here."
I see Taylor and jump out of the car.
We all sit down in the booth. Alec's phone rings.
"Hello?"
"Um okay. We are on our way."
I look at him confused.
"Ty, Ash we need to go to the warehouse. Dylan's gang stole a shipment."
"Shit." Ty responds as they get up to leave.
"We will be back soon I promise. I love you Sky." He kisses my forehead and leaves and Ash kissed Taylor on the cheek.
"That's the second time this week." Taylor explains clearly frustrated.
"Wanna get outta here?" I ask.
"Sure! Where do you wanna go?"
"I don't know."
"Ice cream?"
"Sounds like a plan!"
We get up and leave.
We walk to Queenies Ice Cream Parlour.
