Don't Leave Me (Kyu x Reader)

Chapter 5

        "That new korean girl is hot." Niall said, "But she has this sad look around her, you know what I mean?" 

        "Yea, I do." Luke replied, eating his pizza, "Too bad she's hanging out with that korean nerd? What's he called again? Bikum?" 

        "Kibum." Niall looked over at where Lauren was sitting with Kibum, "Why does she have an english name anyway." 

        "Probably a nickname or something, I wonder what her real korean name is." 

        "Look she's talking on the phone." Niall pointed. 

        "I wanna hear what they're saying, lets go." Luke got up. 

        "It's in korean your not gonna understand it anyway." 

        Luke smirked, "But I'm sure Kibum will tell us if I beat him up." 

        Niall frowned, "I told you I don't like it when you bully people. Besides, Kibum's walking away from her now, he's not gonna hear the conversation anyway." 

        "I'll handle this." Luke snarled, he dragged Kibum behind Lauren and hissed, "Tell me everything that you hear, or I'll beat you up." 

        Kibum whimpered and Niall said kindly, "Of course he won't Kibum, just please tell me, I really wanna know why she keeps rejecting me, does she have a boyfriend?" 

        "I'll listen for you." Kibum mumbled and hid behind a trash can.

        "Well?" Niall asked. 

        "She was talking to like, 3 boys I think." 

        "3?" 

        "I heard 3 voices." 

        "Oh, okay. Go on then." Luke urged him. 

        "They told her not to worry and that they missed her so much and life is boring without her and-" 

        "Did any of them say anything that makes it seem like they're dating?" Luke interrupted. 

        Kibum frowned, thinking, "They all said I love you. But then one of them said, 'Donghae is going crazy now that you're not here. I think he doesn't like Hyukjae anymore. He's not over you.' And then another guy, probably Donghae, said that of course he's already over her but they're still best friends." 

        Niall nodded, "Ah, her ex. And do you think she's over him?" 

        "Yes." Kibum nodded. 

        Luke looked at him suspiciously, "You know something don't you? Tell us." 

        Kibum shook his head and said truthfully, "I really don't. She hints at some heartbreak but never talks about it." 

        "Kibum!" Lauren came over and glared at the english boys, "Lets go." she and Kibum walked off, "Were they bullying you again?" 

        "They were, um, teasing me about my name." 

        Lauren swore, "Fucking bullies, can't they just accept that korean names aren't like english ones? And they keep calling you a nerd, if you would just take off your glasses and get contact lenses they would see how hot you are." 

        "No Lauren I'm not." Kibum protested.

        "Yes you are." she said firmly. 

        "Ready to go?" Lay, her bodyguard asked (Changmin had hired two korean bodyguards to stay with her, he wanted to keep his daughter safe). 

        "Yea. Bye Kibum!" she waved and got into the car. 

        "Bye!" he waved back. 

        She had been at this school for only a month and already she was changing his life, he wanted to help her too, but she wouldn't let him in.

        She threw herself onto her bed and sobbed, she missed Ryeowook. She missed Donghae. She missed Eunhyuk. And she didn't want to admit it, but she missed Kyuhyun. Even though he had thrown her away like that. Like she was nothing but a crumpled up piece of paper, as if they had never been friends. 

        "Whats wrong?" Lay asked softly as he came into the room and sat on her bed, "You should get over him, he wasn't worth it." 

        "I know I know." she sobbed, "But I miss my friends."

        "You have nice fingers, I wish I could paint them." Niall said wistfully, to everyones suprise, she didn't get angry, she smiled a sad smile.

        Luke couldn't help it, "What is it? Why are you smiling like that? Did Donghae paint your nails back at home or something?" 

        A look of shock came over Lauren's face, "How do you know Donghae?" she demanded. 

       "Your little korean friend here told us everything." Luke smirked, shoving Kibum forward. 

        "I-I'm so sorry Lauren." Kibum stammered, "He threatened to hurt me-" 

        But Lauren was already walking away with tears in her eyes.

        "Got dumped by your girlfriend?" Luke smirked as he punch Kibum in the eye, "Oh wait, I forgot, she's not your girlfriend, she's just a girl you like, but she would never like a nerd, a coward like you." 

        Kibum whimpered piteously. 

        "Too bad Niall isn't here to protect you now." 

        Suddenly, a fist connected with his back, "Who-!" 

        She punched him again, "You're the coward," Lauren snarled, "Kibum, hit him." 

        "I can't." Kibum stuttered, amazed that she had come to his rescue. 

        "He deserves it, for how many years has he been doing this to you?" She asked, "I can see that you were once a fighter Kibum I don't know what happened but you need to be like that again." 

       Kibum stood up shakily and said, "I can't do it." 

        Lauren lost it, "FIGHT BACK WHEN YOU GET THE FUCKING CHANCE TO! BECAUSE YOU'LL REGRET IT LATER! I COULD'VE FOUGHT BACK! INSTEAD I RAN AWAY CRYING FROM MY PROBLEMS! NOW HIT HIM!" 

        Kibum balled his hands and punched Luke's nose, it started bleeding and he ran away, "That wasn't right." Kibum said. 

        "Of course it was." 

        "We should help bullies, not bully them back." 

        Another one of those sad looks came over Lauren's face, "You think I don't feel bad about what we just did? But sometimes you have to do that. It's life." 

        ***

       ( 3 days after Lauren left for England )

        Kyuhyun woke up thinking he would feel her in his arms, instead he felt and saw nothing. Why had he dreamed of Lauren? Just a dream, you're just a bit guilty, that's all. He told himself.
