I need to think this through so I, 1 don't seem suspicious and 2 don't get caught. I feel like I should murder my mother, when in a normal situation, seems overly cruel but in mine not at all. I know what she's like, she's down it before but my dad forgave her.
"Now she's fucking a fifty year old asshole that looks like my father but more disgusting." I mumble to myself as I write down some ideas. I can't drive with her somewhere and then return home with no mom, that will look bad. But I coul-
There's a knock on my door. I open it to see my mom standing there, eyes somewhat red from tears. She comes in and sits on the bed to try and explain herself.
"Mom, you've done this before! And dad forgave you! What is wrong with you? Do you not love dad anymore? Is that what it is?" I exclaim at her, I need to make her feel bad about this whole situation.
"I know I have sweetie, I-"
"Don't call me sweetie," I grumble.
"I'm sorry, Max, really I am. Your father... he just doesn't have the spirit he had anymore." She tries to explain.
"So you're cheating on my father, YOUR husband, because he doesn't want to have sex with you anymore? God, this is hilarious." I throw my hands up and fake laugh. "I mean, then that's okay isn't it?"
She's about to cry again, god women are so emotional. "Please, Max, forgive me. Don't tell your father, I'll do it myself. "
"I mean, I guess I will. I mean, you are my mother. But that doesn't mean I'm not upset with you."
"Okay, thank you." She hugs me and leaves my room. I just thought of the best idea ever.
I head down to the kitchen a few minutes before dinner is ready to go to get the drinks. I put each drink glass in front of everyone's spot, I can't mess this up. I take a piece of glass that I found and carefully shave it into my mother's drink. When she drink's her drink tonight, the glass will rip her insides, with no way to stop it. I hear my parents coming into the room so I quickly act like I'm about to sit down. I watch as she takes drinks of her water, smiling on the inside. Later tonight, I'm gonna give her her favorite drink, with glass inside of it.
"Here, mom," I say as I walk into her and my father's room later that night.
"What is this?" She asks, surprised.
"Just some ice tea, I thought you might like it," I smile and gave her the glass. "This is just for you, so don't share it with my dad, alright." With that , I leave the room. I put heavy amounts of glass in each drink, this should murder her in a matter of hours or at most, a day.
I awake a few hours later to a bloodcurdling scream, coming from my parents room. I rush in there to see my dad in utter shock, pointing at my mother.
"She-sh-... she's not breathing" My dad stutters out.
"Dad, look at me, call 911 and I'll wait out front for them." I tell him and he nods. I'm jumping for joy in my head, she actually died or so it looks.
Third victim, who knows how many more.
The EMT's show up at my house five minutes later and try to save my mother. My dad is in tears and I'm silently crying while holding onto my dad's shoulder. They work on my mother for fifteen minutes, finally deciding she has passed on.
"Do...do you know what happened?" I stammer out, tears down my face.
"Sadly no. But the pathologist will tell you the best answer. We think possibly a heart attack," With that answer, they leave our house, the only sound my dad crying.
"You can stay home today." He says, "I've got to make some calls, I'll talk to you later."
I walk back into my room to see that it is almost six am. My friends won't be up yet so I wait a while to text them that I won't be in today because my mother died of "natural" causes. I sit on my bed and run my fingers through my hair and let out a breath. It shocks me a bit that it actually works, but my mom had it coming; cheating on my dad, for the second time.
"Take that, Griff." I say into the empty air.
I call my friends around seven and start crying about what happened.
"I'm so sorry, Max." Charlie says into the phone, he sounds sincere.
"That's to bad, man." Heaven responds with.
"When will the funeral be, do you want us to be there with you?" Melanie asks.
"Ya'll can come with it if you want, we don't know when it is though. It just took me by surprise, you know? I'll be back to school either tomorrow or the next day. Talk later."
They all say good bye and hang up. The teachers won't put announce the homework for a awhile so I have the day mostly to myself and I go down for some breakfast. I get some cereal and a pull from the cupboards and sit at the island. My dad comes down the stairs slowly and tells me that someone is coming by later to pick up my mother. I walk over and give him a hug, saying it will be okay. He nods and gets ready for work, saying he can't take a day off and needs to distract himself.
"I'll see you later then," I wave at him and finish up eating.
I head back up and get dressed for the day, just now realizing I've been in my boxers this entire time.
"You're lucky the EMT's didn't see your thing, Max." I tell myself and throw on a shirt. I look over at my phone to see a message from someone unfamiliar. I look at it and find out its Mike. I call it and realize he is probably in class right now. He surprisingly answers and asks why I'm not here.
"Well you see, my mother passed away in the night and yeah, didn't feel like going to school." I answer.
"Oh, man. Sorry about that." He responds.
"May I ask why you are calling and how you got my number?"
"Well... I was just wondering why you weren't here today cause you're usually with Charlie and I asked him for your number."
"Aww, you were worried about me." I smirked.
"No-No, not like that..." He stammers.
"No, I was joking."
"Oh, yeah. I was also wondering if you wanted to hangout at the library after school, only if you are up to it." I sense that he's blushing.
"Sounds like a plan. I just need to find it first. Byeeee." I sing into the phone, I got him just where I want him.
