Brooke's POV

Nick leans in closer to me and our lips touch. Over and over we repeat this until we're interrupted by Josh sprinting down the stairs.

"Uhh, Brooke you're good with relationships right?"

I grin and Nick nods, kissing me again.

"Could you two stop for just a second?" Josh explodes, with a sour look on his face. He honestly looks like he might pee himself.

I pull away from Nick and reply, "Hit me with it."

Josh nods, "Okay. This isn't my question. It's from. a friend. Yeah. Okay. If the girl of m-HIS dreams just got dumped, even if I-HE has a girlfriend, should he be sad for her and support her because they're best friends, or should he be happy and ask her out and dump his old girlfriend?"

My jaw drops. "You like Chloe!" I shriek.

Josh blushes, "No I don't. It's for a friend!"

"Then your FRIEND should admit their true feelings to me in the living room." Nick jokes.

•Josh's POV•

As he grabs my hand and drags me into the other room, I whine, "Dude!"

"So tell me the real story."

"No." I reply, in a rapid fire way. "I'll say a word and you say the first word that comes to mind. Dog."

"Bone."

"Cat."

"Stupid."

"Fat."

"You."

Nick pauses to choke back laughter,

"Love."

"Chloe."

Nick's jaw drops. "What? What did I say?!" I explode.

"You said Chloe." Oh my god. I like Chloe.

"Dude tell me all about it!" Nick shout-whispers. "I can't sleep at night. I'm up thinking about her. I really like her.

"Oh no. I think it's more than that. I think you love her." Nick cracks sarcastically.

"Shut up." I say, but it may be true.
