(Disclaimer; this chapter takes place during the first week Dairoku woke up so he's still recovering at Yang's house)

(Blake's POV)

Finally, our boat had arrived at Menagerie, the home of Tyros and I... Sun seemed, pretty amazed by this place... not sure for the better of worse.

Sun: Woah... Woah... I've never seen so many Faunus in one place!

Me: This is one place everyone can feel safe, no matter who or what they are.

Sun: Wow... Sure is crowded, huh?

Tyros: You could say that.

We continued to walk through the streets while Sun looked around, in amazement.

Sun: Is it always so... cramped?

Tyros: When you try and take an entire race of species and put them on an island that's two thirds desert, then yes, I gets cramped.

Sun: What!? You guys have that much space!? Why waste it? A little desert never hurt anyone.

Me: It's not like the deserts in Vacuo, Sun. The wildlife here is more dangerous than most regions.

Sun: So they gave us a terrible island in the corner of Remnant, to try and shut us up.

Tyros: Basically the gist of it.

Sun: Huh... Jerks.

Me: We've tried to make the best of it.

We continued through town until we arrived at our home street...

Sun: Woah...

Me: This is Kuo Kuana.

Sun: It's beautiful... I take it all back, this place looks great! Why would anyone ever want to leave?

Me: That's not the point Sun. We asked to be equal, to be treated just like everyone else. Instead we were giving an island and told to make do. So that's exactly what we did; we came together and we made where any Faunus could feel welcome.

Tyros: But this island, this town... will always be a reminder that we're still not equal... that we're still second class citizens...

Sun: Well hey, this guy's feeling pretty at home.

Me: Alright, time to go home.

Sun put an arm around me, instantly irritating Tyros.

Sun: Oh yeah? Which one's yours? Can you see it from here?

Tyros: Yup.

Sun: Is it that one?

Tyros: Nope.

Sun: How about that tiny one down there? I like the paint job.
