(Blake's POV)

Currently, it was the middle of the night as I stood outside of my dad's office... I was hesitant to go and talk to him but... My attention was grabbed by my mother and Tyros walking up to me.

Mom: You know, you can always go in and say hi.

Me: I don't want to bother him.

Tyros: Sis, he's our dad. The last thing we'd be doing is bothering him.

Me: Easy for you to say...

Mom: Your brother's right. A father's never too busy for his children.

Me: Not all of our friends would agree with you on that.

Mom then walked up to me and handed me the tray of tea she was carrying confusing me.

Mom: Here.

Me: What?

She began to walk away.

Me: Where are you going?

Mom: You've never been very talkative, but that boy you both brought home loves to run his mouth.

Tyros: Unfortunately...

Mom: Either way, I wanna hear more about the adventures of Team RWBY and RCST.

She walked away, leaving me and Tyros standing in front of our dad's door when suddenly...

Dad: Kali, is that you dear?

I began to shake, hearing his voice but Tyros immediately put his hand on my shoulder calming me slightly...

Tyros: Don't worry sis, it'll be okay. We'll go together.

I looked at him, still shaking slightly but nodded nonetheless and we walked into the room...

Me: Uh, hey dad.

He turned to see me and Tyros, surprised.

Dad: Blake, Tyros! Well, this is a pleasant surprise.

Tyros: Hey there Pops.

Me: I...

Dad: Please! Both of you, come sit.

We went to sit on the couch as dad sat on the chair next to it.

Me: We don't want to keep you if you're-

Dad: Nonsense, I've been cooped up in here all day. You still take sugar right?

Me: Oh, actually, uh-

Dad: Oh! Sorry!

Me: No, no, no, no it's fine.

Dad: Here, take this one.

Me: No really. It's no big deal.

My thoughts: WHY DOES THIS HAVE TO BE SO AWKWARD!?!? HE'S MY DAD FOR HELLS SAKES!!

Tyros began to laugh at us, annoying me.

Tyros: Seriously, this is the most awkward father and daughter moment I've ever seen in my life.

I pouted, grabbed his neck and began to shake the living hell out of him as our dad chuckled at our antics.

Dad: You two still love to fight.

I finally let go of his neck and went to take a sip of my tea, only realizing that it was still hot and I burnt my lip...

Tyros: You're the queen of tea and you burnt yourself? What's next? You and Ruby's dog, Zwei becoming best friends?
