dear diary,

of course i saw her again. the second time i did, she was still wearing clothing bigger than her. although, this time, she was wearing a hoodie. that's when i concluded that she probably likes oversized clothing.

she was still standing in front of the grocery store, on the same spot when i first saw her. however, in front of her, was an easel and a canvas. i thought why, out of all the beautiful things in the world, she's choosing to paint a grocery store.

by this time, she really confused the human out of me. and she must have noticed because once i stepped out of the grocery store, she yelled "denim jacket guy" and ran up to me. when she was already standing in front of me, i asked her why she called me that and she said it's because i'm wearing a denim jacket, and i was.

and then,     ...

"you probably think i'm weird." she said, "don't worry, all of my classmates think so, too."

"i don't-"

"don't even finish that sentence because i know it's a lie." she cut me off, "no one just stands in front of a grocery store one sunday and stand on the same spot with an easel the next sunday."

"why anyway?"

"i know, right?" she said, sighing then giggling.

"so, why?"

"this is my last output and i want to make it memorable."

"so, you decided to paint a grocery store to be different?"

she smiled, "i'm not painting a grocery store to be different."

"then, why?"

"what's your name?"

"pardon me?"

"what's your name?"

"jihoon."

"hi, jihoon. i'm y/n. now i wouldn't have to call you denim jacket guy and you wouldn't have to call me weird."

her name is y/n and she captivated me.
