"Yeah. I am also thinking that there must be a reason why those memories are buried in my brain. Might be for the best." Rina sighed. "So, I guess I can just give you my WhatsApp number? Will it work even I am in a different country or I need to buy a new sim?"
"You need to have an international number. I know a place where you can buy a sim."
"Oh, that's nice. Okay, maybe I can go there sometime."
"Actually, if you're done with your coffee, we can go there now."
"Right away? That's quick! Hahaha!"
"Yeah! Why waste time for things you can do now?"
"Yup! Definitely a German there." teased Rina.
"Hey! That's just me being practical." Rich raised his two hands in full admission of his trait.
"Hahaha! Sorry. No offense meant. It is actually a good thing. Make haste and don't waste."
"Exactly! So, are you ready?" Rich asked.
"Okay, give me a minute to pack my stuffs."
After Rina finished keeping her things, both of them stood up and headed to the exit door. While walking on the pavement, Rina tried to walk behind Rich as the thought of danger suddenly crossed her mind. What on earth am I doing going with a stranger??? What if he is a serial killer or a rapist??? Stupid move, Rina...
Rich stopped walking and looked back at her, waiting for Rina to reach the spot where he is standing.
"You know, you're not supposed to walk super behind me. You might get lost in this crowd of people. Oh.... are you coming to your senses that it was a mistake to go with people you barely know? Well... it is too late for that..." Rich said with a smudge written all over his face.
Rina's eyes grew big sensing an unexplained danger. Will she run away now or shout for help? God, please help me...
"Hahaha! Gotcha! I was just fooling around. If you could just look at your face earlier."
"Dang! Do not prank me like that. My heart skipped a beat in fear."
"Hahaha! Sorry! But I really enjoyed that. Hey, here is my card to at least put your mind at ease. My ID is here too, and you can Google me or my company for a background check." Rich reassured Rina.
"We should have done this earlier. Not now, when we're already outside walking towards the trap you'd set me up to..."
"Hahahaha! Hey, if that was my intention, I could easily snatch you away and carry you to my get away car and do the nasty stuff to you in a faraway forest or field."
"Oh God... Let me take a picture of you and your ID, then send it to my daughter so she knows who to look for in case I go missing."
"Okay. Go on. No problem with me." Rich smiled as Rina took a photo of him. "Are you okay now that you've sent the picture of your captor? Hahaha!"
"I feel so stupid going with strangers. That's why Red Riding Hood was reminded by her Grandma not to talk to strangers."
"Hey, I don't look like a wolf! I'm hurt..." Rich feigning his pain.
"Hahahah! But the most dangerous wolf sometimes hides underneath the most innocent looking sheep."
"Good point. What a smart woman."
"Are you being sarcastic now?"
"Hahaha! No, nooo! You are one of the few intelligent women I met. Not gonna lie."
"Whatever... How far are we to the place for buying the sim?"
"Well, a couple of blocks more and we will be there. Better start walking now." Rich smiled and nodded at Rina as an invitation to walk with him.
