Thankfully, Rina was not abducted nor harmed by Rich. They were able to purchase the new sim card, then they walked back to the street where the cafe was located. Amidst the busy flow of people, Rich and Rina exchanged contact details and bid their goodbyes.

"I'd keep in touch so please respond to my messages, ok?" Rich said as he walked away from Rina.

She was looking at his figure while he kept his strides away from her. Please turn around and smile...

It was like the gods heard her silent prayer and granted her wish, Rich looked back at her direction then smiled at her while waving goodbye. Still in awe, Rina waved back at him wondering what just happened.

A ring from her cellphone broke her trance.

"Mom, where are you?" it's Christine's worried voice.

"Hey, honey, I'm just here on the street a couple of blocks away from the convention center. I just had coffee and some relaxing time," Rina said while remembering the short time spent with Rich earlier.

"Okay. I am almost done with today's session so we can possibly meetup around the area. Will send you the message when this is over, ok? Take care. See yah, later!"

"Yeah honey. Don't worry about me," she said while silently cursing herself for meeting a stranger and giving her contact details to him. So much for being careful, Rina...

Half an hour passed, Rina and Christine were already looking for a place to have their dinner. They found a cosy restaurant which radiates a welcoming vibe and comforting atmosphere despite being situated in the midst of luxurious hotels and other restos. The food satisfied their cravings and the service was top notch.

The mother and daughter pair went straight to their hotel after having dinner. Christine has an early session the next day so Rina let her take a shower first.

"By the way, Mom, before I forgot, who is this handsome man?" Christine asked while showing Rina the picture of Rich which she had sent earlier.

"Oh, that was someone I met at the cafe while spending my waiting time for you. He offered to accompany me to buy a new sim card, but I realized that I just went with a stranger. Then he allowed me to take a picture of him and send it to you to appease my worried mind."

"Hmmm... interesting. Is he really handsome in person?" Christine curiously asked.

Before Rina could answer her daughter, a message notification sounded from her phone. It was Rich. A hint of smile registered on her face which did not escape from Christine's watchful eyes.

"Is that Mr. Handsome German?" teased Christine.

"Oh... yes, it is Rich."

"So you admit he is handsome. Hahaha!"

Rina could feel her cheeks warming and her tummy tingling. Wait... am I blushing and gushing just like a teenager having her first crush?

"You, young lady, need to stop saying nonsense stuffs and start resting because you have a long day ahead of you tomorrow."

"Mommy, got a crush.... on a handsome German guy! Mommy, got a crush...!" Christine chanted as she lays on her bed and pulls her sheet.

"Stop it..." Rina said while laughing at the moment when the two of them can actually have this kind of joking around. "Sleep tight, honey. Love you."

"I will sleep now so you can start messaging your handsome German crush. Hahaha! Love you, Mom!"

"Imma get your heart racing in my skin tight jeans, Be your teenage dream tonight..."
