The same routine kept going on for a week, but it was fun since he had new friends, he didn't feel like he was in a loop at all, He was happy for that 'cause really.. He assumed he'd be the type of person who has one single friend or it's going to take long after he finds new ones.

Ashton and him were the only ones who came to work today since Dean took an off for the first time 'cause of an emergency. Ashton told Xaiden about it and it was about Dean's mom rushed in the hospital.

Dean was panicking for her dear life but luckily she survived the heart attack. After Dean making sure she was alright in the hospital, he decided he really needs to go to his mother and take care of her. None disagreed of course especially Ashton, he even forced Dean to go since the man was thinking to stay and finish their project first before taking a leave. 

But thanks to Xaiden they successfully sent him off last night. So now they're both here working on the project together, it was quiet than usual but both didn't mind. The silence was comfortable and it was bearable. 

"When do you think he's going to come back?" Xaiden broke the silence.

"Probably a week or less." Ashton replied simply but you could also hear the worry in his tone, Xaiden sighed. They both will actually miss Dean, especially the man acting like their leader.

"It's my turn tonight hm?" Ashton mumbled while looking at Xaiden, waiting for his response.

"Yeah, but we can switch for once. I can sleep here, you seem exhausted to be sleeping in a couch" Xaiden offered.

"No, that's a bit.."

"Meh, just accept it. I knew you hated sleeping in here, just go later. I can handle things" Xaiden smiled at him to assure him. Ashton just sighed before continuing on fixing the controller pad that was attached on the side of the machine.

"What would I do without you really?" He sighed again earning a little laugh from Xaiden.

Vance visited the lab with Devan today and Devan was just a big help to them. The robot no, Devan cutely offered to clean the mess in the laboratory while they all were in the storage room, Lance was there too, to accompany Devan who was cleaning 'cause there are high chances Devan would throw some things that are  important.

"I envy you, Why the hell did the old man give you any projects?" Ashton sighed while carelessly throwing his gloves aside since he's going to take break.

"Mr. Ceause probably loves us too much to give us orders, meh.. Sucks to be yo-"

"Can you shut up?" Both Xaiden and Ashton said in unison. Damn, Xaiden literally took back what he said this is going to be easy since it's just a replica, but now he's here after a week, still suffering with this project since it still needs a few more changes to work like a charm.

"So I've heard 'bout Dean? I hope he's okay specially his mother.." Vance mumbled but it was clear and loud enough for them to hear.

"Yeah, Mrs. Colten was very nice.. I hope she's okay.." Ashton. "Dean was so worried when he got that call. Anyways let's go get some lunch? I'm starving" Ashton suggested, emphasizing the last two words he said, yeah it's no surprise by now. All of them knew Ashton eats like a pig -more to say, a lot.

Ashton and Lance was left in the lab since they can't leave it but Devan came with Vance and Xaiden to help them carry the foods they bought.

"Hey Devan, you're drooling??" Vance says while tapping the A.I's shoulder to bring him back to life, this man really wants to eat. They both could only smile at him warmly knowing that Devan must've missed eating since he can't eat now.
