Vance was still at the hospital, but with Lance's parents arriving he decided to leave since they also told him to go and get some rest. He didn't want to listen at first but he also didn't want to worry them more...

When he came back in the institute, it was already five in the afternoon. The building entrance had a yellow caution tape, meaning he can't really go back to his dorm. He saw a lot of workers sitting on the grass field for the meantime while waiting for what?

He walked towards a familiar worker which he recognized as Kyra Alison and asked her the question.

"Why are we all staying here?" He asked quietly but enough to gain her whole attention towards him.

"The police are still investigating inside, Xaiden and Ashton are your friends, right?" She answered then asked Vance who nodded as a reply.

"Professor has been searching for them for hours with the police, but until now they don't know where those two are. Maybe you can go and tell professor Ceause if you know where they are." She added while smiling warmly to him to calm him down and not panic.

"I haven't seen them though?..." he mumbled quietly making it hard for Kyra to hear, so she asked.

"Pardon?"

"It's nothing- I'll go talk to prof. Thanks for the information by the way." He smiled back and Kyra just nodded her head. Seeing him off as he began to jog towards the said man's direction. 

He was worried of course, it was Xaiden and Ashton. It was both of his closest friends.

After jogging quite a while finally he found Mr. Ceause talking with the police on the side entrance of the building, he understood why they were there. It was the closest entrance from the lab.

"We tried to investigate as much as we can professor, but there weren't any proof that they literally exploded into bits of pieces, we can't find them. But we sent the forensics team on the way to investigate more further. We can declare those five students as missing for the meantime and we'll work on this case as long as it takes and find them." The police explained while looking apologetically at Mr. Ceause who's obviously worrying too.

The policeman tapped his shoulder lightly for comfort before walking away leaving the professor alone. Vance took the chance and heads Straightly towards the old man.

"Oh, Mr. Mayer. Have you seen Mr. Lynx and Hurley around after the explosion?" The man asked not even minding if he's being too straight forward.

Vance wanted to say yes, but he'd be lying if he did. So he shook his head as a no, earning a little sigh from the professor. 

"I companied Lance in the hospital for hours in the hospital after the explosion. Why? What happened here?" He asked Mr. Ceause who looked at him sadly.

"Hurley and Lynx we're missing along with three others, police are still investigating. There's no way all of them died, there wasn't any sign of murder in there." The old man explained making Vance frown. Where could his friends possibly be?

"Did they find out what caused the explosion to happen professor?" Vance asked again, his voice cracking a bit.

"Not yet, but I hope they will find out soon. Anyways, I have to go and think about how I should explain this to their parents." Faking a smile, Mr. Ceause also started walking away. Leaving Vance alone also worrying about how'll Dean and Xaiden's parents will react at this sudden incident.

Xaiden's POV

The man earlier who dragged me here disappeared into the hallway, he left me alone in the living room and this is just uncomfortable. What kind of dream is this? Every thing feels real.
