school ended thirty minutes ago and here she was inside her room with her second best friend -- Jeno. She knew Jeno wasn't blind, she knew he could see through her easily.

"You can't hide it from me you know. i know you cried all night and at lunch too." he confused staring at her worried. "You can trust me Youngmin." Oh look, the water works are back. Jeno panicked seeing her tears staining her cheeks. "Hey hey hey! what's wrong? Wait shit don't cry. did i say something?-" Jeno stood up and walked towards her placing his hand on her place, softly caressing her cheeks with his thumb, wiping away her tears.

she wonders, why didn't she fall in love with Jeno? Why she fell in love with a person who turned her into a wreck? she didn't know. 

they two stared at each other. "Jen..." her voice cracked. he kneeled infront of her making her aware he was listening closely. 

"The disease. I got it." That was all her need to hear for him to freeze in his spot. well he certainly didn't expect the turn of events. "...What?" He said, not believing his own ears. "I'm sorry Jen I'm so so so sorry" she said turning into a crying wreck in front of him

"I didn't keep out promise, instead i went against it. I'm sorry-" "Don't apaologize for this Min. please..." this time his voice was more quiet, more shaky. she could hear his sobs. She jumped off the bed and jeno hugged her tightly. 

"Don't apologize for something you can't control." he said caressing her head softly. "I'm sorry things turned out this way." he said standing up while hugging, she cried in his embrace. he didn't care that his shirt was stained with her tears. At least he was there to comfort her. Unlike a certain someone.

Mark knocked on the door and walked in, only to meet Jeno's red and puffy eyes, making him look down. "She told you didn't she?" Mark said quietly and Jeno briefly nodded looking up, not wanting to shed a tear, although he technically already did.

The three just stood there in silent. Mark did cry, and only stood there in sadness and regret. while Jeno and Youngmin both cried in each other's embrace.

-time skip at school the next day-

This time they could sense both Jeno and Youngmin were both dead, both eyes were red. Making the dreamies more and more worried about Youngmin.

"Hi..." the two corners of her lips tugged up at her friends she held close to her heart. Though her voice was shaky, obviously she was having some difficulty talking since she cried a lot.

Renjun's whole aura shifted. He didn't know what to feel. he felt something was wrong. Something was definitely wrong, but he can't pin-point the exact reason.

Haechan tried lifting the atmosphere with his childish acts and jokes, which kind of worked making chenle and jisung smile for a good minute. Then a familiar voice was heard.

"Hey guys" The voice Youngmin loved but also hated. why him? out of eveyrone why him? she asked herself. 

Jeno as a responible best friend, shielded her from sparing Jaemin a glace making Jaemin cock a brow at him. "What's wrong Jeno? Why are you hiding Youngmin from me?" Jaemin asked with a bit of fire with his words. 

"What? i can't keep my best friend from talking to people like you? I'm just looking after her Jaemin." Jaemin didn't know what to say. What happened to him? what happened bewteen those two.

This time Jeno was the one who cocked a brow at him. "What? cat caught you tongue? As a reminder you ditched me for that bitch girlfriend of yours. Talk about being a best friend" Jeno fired at him making Jaemin glare at him intensely. Youngmin was of course surprised at Jneo's actions and words. She knew they feel apart but never knew why. Was this the whole reason why?

"Watch your mouth Lee Jeno. My girlfriend is the nicest girl I know, she's not a bitch." Jamein replied. The atmosphere was tenser than every making Donghyuck, Chenle and jisung to just stare in fright. What ever is about to go down, is going to down. Though one certain person wasn't listening. he was blinking out, didn't even realize Jeno and Jaemin are currently arguing.

Renjun lost all his ideas on how to make his best friend happy again. he felt lost. he didn't know what was going on. was he being a bad best friend? was he being dumb? is he doing the right thing? questions filled his mind but seems like no answers were coming up. 

it was the first time to see his best friend look so dead. It seemed all life got sucked out of her body and only her physical body was all that was left. Whatever it was, he had to figure it out.
