Jeno didn't dare to look to Youngmin in her eyes. he was scared. he didn't want to lose someone who he held close to her heart. Yes he won't deny it, he loved her. he loved everypart of her. her imperfections her everything. but why did thing turn out this way? most importantly, it was caused by his best friend.
he sighed in fustruation as he walked down the school halls to see a familiar prescenece, he smiled a bit. It was her. "Jeno-ssi!" Haechan said in a cutesy-annoying way making Jeno give him a look.
"What's wrong with you?" he asked trying to stop himself to not punch him on the spot while laughing, not like he would thought cause he's currently in a fit of laughter.
Youngmin softly smiled at her friends who got annoyed with haechan doing aegyo early in the morning. "Guys" it was his voice again, she froze. should she run away?
Jeno was alerted and immediately sheltered her from him, though it probably won't do anything. Jaemin sighed, looked up and smiled sadly at his once best friend sadly. "Can we talk?" Jeno widened his eyes. "What?-" "MInhae cheated on me." some were shocked while some didn't give a shit about her cause they knew she was up to no good.
"..I'm sorry Jeno." Jaemin said sadly, "i should've seen through her. she was getting suspicious these past few days which made me worry a lot" Jaemin looked at his foot, too embaressed to look at Jeno. Because he's admitting he was wrong. He should've listened. He should've trusted someone who knew him more than a girlfriend. And Jaemin feels guilty for leaving him in one place
Jeno and the others didn't know what to say, but Jisung had a empathic smiled on his face. "Hyung it's alright. everyone goes through things you know, not only you alone" Jisung patted his shoulder.
"Thank you Jisung." this time he looked up to meet jeno's eyes. "Jeno i'm being sincere. I'm really sorry" Jaemin was so close to pleading Jeno to forgive him.
"We can go back like how we used to" Jaemin said to him, sounded more like begging. But can it be the same? his lover was now dying because of him. but he knows it's also not his fault either. it was none of their faults at all. it was that darn thing called "love"
Jeno smiled, showing his eye smiled again. "You have finally come to your senses huh?" Jeno hugged the boy with the biggest smile ever in the world.
"i missed you" Jeno said letting go making Jaemin laugh. Youngmin stared into space though. a part of her thuoght ot was her fault but she knows it wasn't. it was never her fault in the first place, then why did she feel like that?
Suddenly, she felt flowers crawling up her throat. she tugged on Jeno's jacket with tears pricking her eyes. "J-Jeno-" she looked up feeling worse and worse, Jeno immediately rushed to her aid making everyone look at them in worry and confusion.
"Dude youngmin are you alright?" Renjun asked rushing to her making Jeno scoff a bit. "This is the time he decides to care about her?" but it was not a time to be worrying about that, she needed to get the flowers out of her throat but how? wouldn't it be too weird to have him go with her into a restroom?
Jeno internally panicked he didn't know what to do. so out of instinct he gave her a bag. "I have no other way okay!" Jeno yelled and dragged her away letting her puke into his poor bag.
"what's wrong with them? are they dating or something?" Jaemin asked confused. "I never knew she had a boyfriend? let alone the one and only lee jeno?" Jaemin looked at Renjun, her supposedly best friend, who quite obviously was failing at that.
They stared at their figures, Renjun caught eye of something though. something he was never supposed to see in the first place.
