It was early at dawn, leslie was in the library trying to
memorize a song on the kalimba, it was a lullaby for her siblings and her little dewberry, Y/N, leslie was ray's twin so they both knew the truth about mom being their biological mom and the truth about the house.
Y/N walked in wrapped in a blanket like a burrito waddling to leslie "leslie-kun go to bed" they said in a somewhat grumpy tone "not now dewberry, im learning something-" leslie was cut off by Y/N bonking her head with a book "sleep.Now." they said sternly. Leslie sighed and stood up,on the way out the other kids were for some reason up when they entered the room "Leslie nee can you sing us a lullaby?" Phil said "e-eh? I couldn't sing but i could play the kalimba-" just then she was cut off by ray "i could try to hum or sing with the tune" ray said blushing lightly. The other kids looked surprised and happy.Y/N suddenly grabbed Leslie into her burrito bun mumbling "Hmm?Dewberry let me go,i can stay with you while i play" Y/N finally let go and laid on Leslie's lap. Leslie smiled and started playing the kalimba, ray started humming because he also knew the song by heart, it was isabella's lullaby for them when she was pregnant. The kids soon fell asleep,ray too. Leslie stopped and looked at Y/N who was apperantly still awake "hm? Dewberry go to sleep" Y/N sat up and shook her head, leslie sighed and put her arms out in a way of asking Y/N to hug her.
Y/N laid on leslie's chest while listening to her soothing voice hum the lullaby she made for her. Y/N soon started to drift asleep "heh...goodnight dewberry" leslie said as she also started to fall asleep...
