"Always here to listen."
*
"Stop!"
I screamed as I looked upon the two who had been mercilessly fighting over me. I'm being hurt and it's enough.
"Can you at least be gentle towards me?" I said and I think that didn't came out right—well... For people with minds that should be dusted off.
"I'm always gentle." Young Master said and pulled me away from Mingyu.
"You bastard should know how to be less hardcore, alright? In that way girls would love to be with you longer." Young Master Han said and Mingyu looked at me but I looked away. Well?
Young Master pulled me away from Mingyu and we are now on our way towards the Lot to ride his car and go to the boutique.
"Dirty scumbag." I heard the Young Master scoffed before leaving the car and entering the boutique.
"Oh! Just in time! I already packed your outfits and ready to go!" Seokmin happily marched towards the receptionist and the Young Master followed him.
I sat down the nearby sofa and waited for the Young Master to come back— I don't even know if what I'm doing is pleasant for the Young Master but anyways, running around the hallways and falling down the ground is somewhat tiresome.
I looked outside the boutique, right on the entrance of the shop was a person peeking in, wearing a black hoodie that covers its face, it kind of sensed me looking at him or her so it walked away like nothing happened. Weird.
"Are you done murmuring to yourself?" I heard the Young Master that made me jump out of the sofa.
"Yes."
"Are you hungry? Let's grab a snack first." The Young Master suggested and I followed him out. There's a newly opened coffee shop across Seokmin's boutique. There are various types of cakes, cheesecakes, truffles, coffee and also milkshakes, Mingyu would love to be here.
"Are you perhaps falling for that guy?" I heard Young Master asked. Huh?
"You know I can hear you." He said that had me panicking on the inside. Am I really thinking out loud?
*
We sat near the glass window. The Young Master ordered two coffees and a single plate of matcha cake.
I sternly looked at the Young Master and noticed that he's somewhat bothered. He has his arms crossed and his lips are often formed on a straight line, also his eyes squints from left to right, he also looks down often.
"Young Master, are you okay?" I had the courage to ask him that made him look at me. "If I tell you I'm not, what would you do?" He asked and I looked up, thinking of what would I do.
"Comfort...you?" I hesitantly said and he lightly chuckled.
"I'm seriously not."
"Why?"
It took him a while to get up from the question. He sighed and looked outside the glass window with an even more doubtful emotion.
"Everything's making me remember her." Young Master said. Her? Seoyeon?
"It's Mid-year class celebration that we had our acquaintance party. She wanted me to come with her and help her pick a dress for the party, a usual thing we do when we go to parties like such." The Young Master said and a very small smile appeared on his lips as he narrated with his eyes fixated on the tall glass of coffee.
"She's wearing a dress at that party I mentioned and that dress suited her so much... And.. That dress was the dress that Seokmin first gave you. Which is why you see I was so furious when you wore that." He said. What?! So.. I get it now...
"The reason why I hated it because I loved it when she wore it in the past. But when she left, I despised everything about her and seeing you wearing that dress relived my memories with her wearing it. You see..." He paused for awhile and sighed, still looking at the tall glass of coffee that any second now, the glass could break with his sharp gaze upon it.
"Have you ever had someone who left you and never said any word, and would just surprise you one day to his return?" He asked and a certain person cane to my mind.
"My father."
"Well, how do you feel?"
"I-I feel so mad to him. Like.. Where is he at those times that Mom and I needs him? And he has the audacity to come back? No, I won't welcome him." I said with the tone of despise. Y'all know how it would hurt if it was you anyways.
"Then... Same goes for me and that girl. I craved for those years that she's nowhere, I craved for her love and care towards me but that slowly faded away and my feelings for her turned cold and hard. And then... It crumbled w-when..." The Young Master stattered and it feels like he was about to cry that it made me look towards him worriedly, but I wanted to hear more from him.
"It crumbled when she finally came back. But, but I promised to never accept her anymore. But everytime she pulls me towards her keeps me breaking that all I can do to keep her away is to get mad." He said and sniveled. Oh, is he keeping his tears?
I turned my head to have a look at him and saw his eyes reddening. Well, seems like he's forcing himself to not cry in front of me. With all my courage, I held his hand and gave him a warm smile that made him look at me and there, I saw his eyes reddening even more and anytime now, his tears would fall.
"It's okay. Crying would help you lessen the pain you're bearing inside you." I said and smiled even wider, I hope I can help him lighten up his mood because honestly, I feel unhappy to see him being bothered.
And he looked down, a tear slipped from his eyes and slid down his cheeks and I heard him lowly sobbed. Now he's crying, for real.
I caressed his hand that I'm holding and felt him holding to my hand and his grip tightening, I didn't knew what to do that time and all I knew what to do is listen to his low sobs and wait for him to stop crying— don't know if this is right but I think crying it out would help him.
"Just cry it all out. If... you still have some things inside you that you're keeping to yourself, I-I'm here, Young Master. I'm here to listen." I said and he raised his head, his eyes almost getting puffy and red. The view was quite pitiful, seeing the Young Master cry just because of his own painful past makes me hurt as well. I know the pain.
It took him quite a while until he finally backed up from crying, he sniveled and looked at me with a hesitant look.
"M-my apologies..." He said and I smiled, taking a pad of tissue and gently wiped the remaining tears away from his face. He flinched at the first time I wiped his tears but just lets me do it for him afterwards.
"It's okay, Master Han. I'm always free to listen to everyone's pain-well... Even if no one would be there when I need someone to listen to mine but that's fine. Seeing people getting up from being in discomfort makes me alright." I said.
"Miss Choi."
"Young Master?"
"Thank you." He said and I smiled again, it's so heart-warming to hear the Young Master thanking me for the nth time already.
"No problem, Young Master. As I said, I'm always free to listen." I said and accidentally, seeing someone outside the window behind the Young Master, the person wearing a black hoodie. Don't know if it's looking at me but when it noticed that I saw him or her, it walked away again.
"Who could that be?"
