“Here is what we’re going to do; you’ll stay on the death eater’s side until things are certain and I’ll go to the DA’s.” I tell Draco in a professional mode. In the moment I saw the coin I was transferred to the warrior I’ve been training all my life to be.
“Have you gone mad?” Draco says in disbelief. “Where you go, I go. There’s no other way.” He says fiercely.
If I was my normal self I would’ve kissed him, but I’m not. “Draco, all this time I wanted you to fight with us and show everyone you’re on my side. But now is the most critical time, and we have to be rational. First; you can’t risk your family’s safety right away. And you know their position isn’t good anyway. Second; it’s only me Ginny and Neville who know about you. You’ll cause chaos if you appear now just before the war. Third and most importantly; we have no idea what’s happening and what’s going to happen, so we have to keep things on the low until the battle really starts.”
He looks at me with admiration and concern mixed up, “But, I don’t want to leave you. What if anything happened to you?”
I raise my hands to show him my gloves, “These are more powerful that you can ever imagine, and I’m gifted by my apparition skills, let’s not forget that I have a lot of friends fighting with me. You have no idea how many people will show up by this message. If someone should be concerned about the other, it should be me!” I touch his face with the tip of my fingers.
He sighs, “You know, I can’t argue with you. Because you’re so rational right now, more rational than me. And I know that this is the right thing to do. But I just can’t let you out of my sight with all the danger surrounding us now.”
“You have to. I’ll be fine. I beat up your friends today, didn’t I?” I laugh, wow that feels like a long time ago.
He chuckles, “Yes, they still have bruises and scars. Ruthless!”
He tries to kiss me again and I push him away. “We had our last kiss already. Let’s save it for our victory.” I tell him.
“I hate you when you’re all business like. Fine, let’s go!” He says in frustration.
I giggle, “That should be a motivation. See you later, Draco. I love you.” I give him a soft peck on the cheek.
“I love you more.” He says with a sigh and I disapparate.
I apparate in the room of requirements, which is now huger than before, with more hammocks and stuffed with people. I spot Ginny and as I start towards her I see more people, Fred, George, Cho and Dean and many more.
“Oh My God! You’re all here!” I shout excitedly. Ginny runs towards me followed by the rest. “Where’s Harry? I got the message that he came here. Where’s Hermione? Ron? Luna?” I ask excitedly. I can’t wait to see them.
“Harry’s with Luna in the Ravenclaw tower, he’s looking for something. Ron and Hermione left to go somewhere I don’t know where exactly. Something about a bathroom.” Ginny replies in concentration.
The passage door opens before we say anything more and more people come piling in, elders now, from the order of Phoenix. And then I see my mother among them, they’re all busy in discussion so I don’t dare go to her and interrupt. We smile at each other from across the room.
“Why is your bra showing?” Ginny asks me quietly looking at my chest.
I look down and realize that my blouse is 4 buttons open. Draco must have opened it and I didn’t realize. My face goes magenta red, “No idea.” I mumble with embarrassment as I close them.
