Emma avoided Regina from that day on. It drove Regina completely crazy mainly because she couldn't get Ms. Swan out of her head. And its like, when she does get to see her, the blonde doesn't even glance her way. It's complete bullshit. She's even tried breaking the rules. First it was chewing gum and when that didn't work, she stayed on her phone the entire time just about everyday. Still nothing.

"So, the craziest thing happened today." Ruby begins to story tell. She and Regina decided to skip their second period. They're just chilling behind the school while Regina smokes her cigarette.

"Don't tell me-"

"Mr. Jones kissed me." Ruby blurts anyways. Regina glances at the bubbly teen with horror and nearly dropped her cigarette. "What?"

"Are you out of your mind?!" Regina practically screams. Ruby swats her reaction away as if kissing her teacher is nothing to worry about.

"You can't be jealous. Jeff told me that you stare at Ms. Swan with this hungry look in your eyes." What?

"It's not like that." Regina concludes.

"Yeah, sure. Speaking of," Ruby gestures behind Regina. Regina turns to find her chemistry teacher storming her way. God, isn't she supposed to have a class or something? "I'll give you two your alone time."

As soon as Ruby makes a run for it, Regina drops her cigarette in the dirt and stomps it out. Emma completely ignores the fact that Ruby was even there as she approaches Regina. She shakes her head at the brunette.

"Smoking isn't healthy Mills."

"Oh now you notice me." Regina chuckles and turns away. Emma rolls her eyes and forces Regina back around by the shoulder.

"Whats wrong?"

"You slapped me and then decided to ignore me, thats what's wrong! I've tried everything to get your attention like an idiot." Yeah because you are an idiot. You just admitted that you like her!

"Regina, you dont need my attention." Emma points out. Regina shakes her head and turns away again.

"No, but I wanted it." She mumbles, pouting down towards the ground. Oh my god! Shut up! What the hell is wrong with me?!

"Are you saying what I think you're saying?" Emma chokes. She's not sure how she should tread during a situation like this. All she tried to do for the past two weeks was avoid things escalating with Regina but it went left anyways. This is not something she'd ever expected to happen ever. "Regina...."

Instead of receiving an answer, Emma receives a smack to her face. It turned out to be one that actually brings tears to her eyes. Emma grits her jaw and balls her fists at her sides to refrain from laying a finger on Regina in return. She vowed she'd never do that to her ever again no matter how badly the teen obviously wants her to.

"Nothing? You aren't going to hit me back?"

"Regina..." Emma warns as her temper begins to bubble over.

"You were so bold a few weeks ago. Now you're just....ugh!" Regina completely rages out of proportion.

"WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME?!" Emma screams back. She doesn't even really understand what the hell is happening right now. Regina takes a step closer and demands,

"Tell me why."

"Why what?!" The blonde spits in her face. Regina holds her own, keeps her facial expression firm just to remind her teacher that she has the upper hand in this moment. She knows that Emma knows exactly what she's talking about. "I dont know." Emma finally caves.
