I woke up with a yawn, and stretched before getting dressed. I danced through my house, cleaning and making breakfast while humming. I skipped down the road, and knocked on Y/n's door, and he answered.

Eesh, that adorable face tells me all I need to know! Good thing I made him a bento! He followed me to the training grounds, where Shinobu was waiting with her signature grin.
She was sitting on a wood pole, and looked at a watch.
"Alright. Y/n, you are going to train with Mitsuri for three hours, or until she decides you're as proficient in her style as you can be, and then you'll be working with me for the rest of the day. Got it?"
He ignored her and continued eating his bento. His face is dead, but his eyes show how much he loves the food. He finished and stood in front of me. I unsheathed my blade, and he did the same. _________________________________________
"Try aiming your stabs at less vital places, and instead aim at the shoulders. If you want to throw in a few stabs at the throat, go for it."
Shinobu is working with Y/n on his stabbing technique, to improve his Butterfly Dance Caprice. He seems to have it down, but the main issue is that he doesn't move quite fast enough to use it against a strong opponent.
He could easily take down some thug, but in the chuunin exams it won't be reliable at this rate. He completely mastered my style, even with our weapon differences, so this should be no problem.
"Hm. I see, I think we are going to work more on your speed for a while, and then we'll do it."
He didn't respond, he just sheathed his blade. I don't think Shinobu-chan knows to talk to him about to make him feel better, and he won't want to hear it from me.
This isn't a good sign so far. Y/n sighed, and walked up to Shinobu, before grabbing her shoulders. She looked at him confused, and a small blush appeared.
"Y/n?"
"Shinobu...."
"Y/n...."
He leaned towards her, and I held in a squeal. Is it finally happening!? He smacked her, and I yelled in surprise.
"Get it together. You couldn't even bother to ask what had me so upset. Someone lost their dog, and asked me to find it. It had nothing to do with you being a jonin. The world doesn't revolve around you."
She glared and slapped him back, before grabbing his collar and throttling him.
"You prick! You had me worried you hated me! That's why I didn't talk to you!!"
She is still smiling, but with her telling and words, it's just disturbing. _________________________________________
I was sitting next to Y/n at a diner, where Shinobu told us to meet.
"Hello Y/n. I made you a scarf as a sign of forgiveness."
"But I don't wear scarves."
"Nonsense. You should put it on. Now."
"But-"
"Here, I'll do it for you."
