I never thought my life would come to an end. I mean, I eventually did but not this early in life. At least I got to reach 18 years of age and met new people in my life. I have one more person to say my farewell to. I need Liz next to me. Right now, I have Severus where I need him to be. Right beside me.

"You saved me? I-, why?" Severus asked with confusion written on his face.

A small giggle escaped my lips while I wiped away my tears.

"I wanted to see you again."

I saw a tear roll down Severus's cheek. I slowly lifted my hand to wipe it away.

"Please, save your tears for someone you truly love. I'm not the one, and I'm sorry for not being good enough for you." I say with a soft smile.

He became speechless and didn't know what to say. I broke the silence with words he never would have heard if I didn't exist.

"Most of the time, I picture both of us holding hands, sitting under a tree, and catching a glimpse of your smile without you noticing. I can only hope that when you close your eyes...you see me." I turned my head so I was looking at the ceiling. I closed my eyes, not wanting to see him in pain when I'm in a terrible state.

"I'm sorry" Severus muttered.

I quickly opened my eyes and turned my head towards Severus.
"Why? You don't need to apologize. I-"

"I'm sorry for not being there for you. I need you to know that I never wanted to hurt you. I don't know what you see in me, but when I look at you," Severus squeezed my hand tighter and used his free hand to cup my face, caressing my cheek with his thumb.
"I see a beautiful flower who is slowly blooming into a bright witch. When a flower takes its precious time to bloom, the more beautiful it will be out of every flower in the garden."

I stare into his eyes and I couldn't contain my tears. Never once have I been called beautiful in a loving way. I had enough strength to do what I always wanted to do.

"Screw these rules." I say as I pulled him by his robe and crashed my lips into his. He didn't hesitate to kiss me back.

"I'm he-, oh..." Liz barged in through the doors with Minerva, Pomfrey, and the twins.

I quickly pulled away and blushed. Severus stood up and cleared his throat trying to compose himself.

"Bout time Professor." Liz said with a smirk. Severus muttered something under his breath but Liz ignored it.

"(Y/n)! I got it! I have the antidote! It took me a few weeks but it's worth sleepless nights." Liz held up a vial with a shiny blue colored potion.

"Liz, thank you. But it's not going to work. I tried everything but nothing seems to take effect. I'm sure it's the same thing I brewed." I say with hopelessness in my eyes.

"Not so fast. Have you tried powdered root? With 2 tablespoons of chopped lavender and 4 other ingredients that I can't remember cause I'm too tired." Liz puts up 6 fingers and wiggles them in front of my face.

I giggle at her. "No, but I don't think I-" before I could finish the sentence, Liz pours it into my mouth by surprise. I instinctively swallow and make a disgusted face.
"It tastes like sewer Liz!" I try yelling but only came out as a raspy voice.

"Its a beautiful color, but it can taste different. I don't want you leaving me alone with these buffoons. I need you with me. It better work. I didn't waste my time trying to perfect the potion just to see it not work." Liz's eyes are red and puffy from not sleeping at all.

"Who you callin' buffoons?" George asked.

"Yeah, the only buffoon here is Professor Snape for not seeing it earlier." Fred points at Severus.
