Violet POV

Once Damon left, we were all still tied to chairs, except Anderson. "Uh, a little help?" Scarlet asked Anderson and he came and untied all of us. Scarlet immediately stormed out of the room once we were untied. I started to run after her, but Anderson stopped me. "Thank you for not telling her, but I got this. I'm the one who didn't tell her the truth, considering it's about me. So I'll talk to her," Anderson said to me.

I just gave Anderson a nod, then went and took a seat at the bar. I was engulfed in a hug by Preston. "Don't worry, it'll be fine," Preston said, giving me a kiss on the head. I just nodded, not having the energy to speak and I went to make myself a drink. I definitely need one after the events that took place. I heard a door shut, striking my curiosity and I followed the noise, Preston trailing behind me.

I got to the back door and opened it, seeing a person running in the distance. I opened my mouth to speak, but before words could come out, Preston was chasing after the person. Who the fuck was just in Star World? Did they see everything? If they did, we're even more fucked. I started running after them, very far behind and not being able to catch up. By the time I got close enough, Preston was carrying the person over his shoulder.

"Rocky? The fuck?" I questioned once seeing his face, giving Preston a confused look. "Yeah, looks like he was creeping in Star World and he might have seen what happened. I had to knock him out cause he wouldn't cooperate." Preston informed me. "Preston! He's my friend AND employee! He's a good guy, you could have just waited for me!" I responded, getting annoyed at Preston. Who just knocks a person out for no fucking reason?

I glared at Preston, then continued walking to Star World. Once we got back, Preston set Rocky down on a couch. Anderson was sitting at the bar, drinking the drink that I made. "Uh, what happened?" He asked us. "Well we heard a door so we followed the noise and Rocky was running away and Preston decided that the best option was to knock him out," I explained. "Hm, I woulda done the same thing. Did he see Damon and everything that happened?" Anderson responded.

I rolled my eyes, of course, he would do that too. I forgot that they're gang members and think that violence solves everything. "I'm not sure, I'm assuming since he was running away," Preston told him. I sat on the stool next to Anderson and took the drink out of his hand. "Make your own," I told him, then started chugging my drink. This day just started, and so much fucked up stuff has already happened. I guess this is just my life now, gang members, getting kidnapped and getting threatened.

"Where's Scarlet?" I asked Anderson once I finished my drink. "In her office, she didn't want to talk to me yet," He told me. I nodded, then made my way there. I softly knocked on the door, then let myself in. Scarlet was sitting on her desk with her head in her hands. "Hi Scar, I know this isn't a good time and that you're mad at Anderson and me but we have a situation we're gonna deal with and I wanted to include you, so maybe you can ignore your anger for a lit-" before I could finish, Preston yelled from downstairs.

"He's waking up!" I quickly turned around and ran downstairs, Scarlet joining me. "What the fuck?" Scarlet questioned once she saw Rocky. Rocky woke up and put his hand on his head, "Ow," He said. I ran to get him a cup of water and handed it to him. "You okay?" I asked Rocky, sitting next to him on the couch. Rocky nodded, then took a sip of the water. "So, why did you knock me out?" Rocky asked looking at Preston.

"What were you doing here? Why were you running away?" Preston questioned. "I came in here because I forgot my jacket awhile ago, but I heard a lot of footsteps and it weirded me out, so I ran," Rocky told us. "He's lying! Why wouldn't he stop to say hi if he actually heard footsteps? He was obviously running because he saw what happened and didn't wanna get caught," Anderson said. "Oh, shut up Anderson! He's probably telling the truth, he didn't do anything wrong," Scarlet defended, clearly still mad at Anderson.

"Anderson, Preston can you guys just give us a minute alone with Rocky?" I asked them. They walked away and went into Scarlet's office. "Rocky I'm so sorry he punched you, he's a dick. We're not mad, we just need to know if you saw what happened so we can protect you. If you lie and then he finds out, you're fucked," I told him. Rocky nodded, then sighed, "I actually was coming for my jacket, but I heard you guys all talking to each other and I went to say hi, then that guy came out".

"Thanks for being honest Rocky. Please, don't tell anyone what you saw or about the guy. You could seriously be in trouble if you do. We're trusting you to pretend it never happened and never speak of it again. Preston and Anderson were gonna do god knows what to make you never talk, but we trust you," Scarlet said to him and I nodded along with her words. "I promise, I wont. I'm just sorry you have to deal with that. If you girls ever need anything I'm here for you," Rocky said, standing up and giving us both hugs.

"Thank you Rocky, get home safe," I said to him and he nodded and left Star World. I looked at Scarlet and was about to speak, but she put her hand up to stop me, "Don't, just not right now," she said, then walked outside. I followed her out the door and saw her getting into an Uber, so I assumed she was going home. This sucks, my best friend is pissed at me, and her boyfriend so she doesn't even have anyone to talk to right now.

I'm scared to go to our apartment because she probably needs her space, but I don't wanna stay at Preston's either. Preston pissed me off. What a great impression to leave on my friend, no words, just knocking him out cold. Fucking asshole. Anderson and Preston came downstairs to ask what happened. I informed them that Rocky wont be a problem, then I started to walk away, until Anderson asked me, "Where's Scarlet?" "I don't know, she took an Uber, probably home. It's probably good to leave her alone for now," I answered.

Once I got outside Preston was behind me. "Where you going?" Preston asked. "I don't know, maybe I'll call Sofia," I told him. "Look, Vi, I'm sorry I hit your friend but that was the easiest way to get him back in the building," Preston apologized. "I know it's fine, I'm just drained from today. I think I'm gonna go out with Sofia, then go home tonight," I told him. "Okay, wanna Uber together?" He asked. I nodded, then quickly called Sofia to see if I could come over. Sofia said yes, then Preston ordered an Uber.

The car ride was mostly silent, besides the quiet music the driver was playing. The Uber pulled up to Sofia's apartment complex and Preston gave me a quick kiss on the head before I thanked him and the driver, then made my way to Sofia's apartment so I could ignore my problems for the rest of the day.
