Violet Blake POV

We had a wonderful time in Las Vegas. We went out and shopped and gambled in the day, then partied, maybe a little too hard, at night. I feel like this trip brought us all a lot closer to each other. I already considered Scarlet, River, Rocky, Easton, and Riley to be my best friends, but now we're even more like a family. Despite the incident with Riley and Scarlet, the trip was great. I hope Riley will keep his word, and not freak out if Scar talks to a guy. I bet Riley will keep it professional and friendly, hopefully.

We got back home today, and we have to open the club tonight. I wonder if Anderson is the one who sent Scarlet that text. It definitely was, but she keeps denying it. "Wait, Scar, did you ever text Anderson back?" I asked her from the other room, as I was unpacking and she was watching a new television show she's obsessed with. "No. And it's not Anderson! What am I supposed to say, 'Oh hey, hopefully I see you too, whoever you are'?" Scarlet responded back to me, sarcastically, yelling from the living room.

I went into the living room and grabbed her phone. I opened the text message and typed:

Sorry, didn't go on my phone much during the trip. I'm back now, hope to see you soon also. Anderson, I'm guessing?

"What are you doing!?" Scarlet yelled, jumping up from the couch attempting to take her phone from me. She read the text and gaped at me. "The fuck Vi! I'm not texting him and that is way too bold to assume it's him! I would be better off asking who it was." Scarlet said to me, beginning to get nervous. I explained to her that that is what I would say and it's rude if she didn't respond, and she eventually caved in and sent the text. "Good job, I'm proud." I said to her, then went back into my room to find an outfit for the night.

I decided on a two piece set, a black top with sparkles on it, as well as a matching skirt. I paired the outfit with red heels. I didn't feel like doing my hair, so I put it in a clip on the back of my head, but left the two front pieces out. "Shut up! Oh. My. GOD." I heard Scarlet yell from her room, which caused me to run in there to see what was up. Scarlet threw her phone at me and I caught it and read the message on the screen.

Anderson: Good guess, yep it's me. Cool, maybe I'll see you tonight.

We both started screaming and jumping up and down like giddy teenagers. Dramatic, I know, but Anderson is one beautiful man. I helped Scarlet pick out an outfit, considering she wanted to look super good. I picked out a dark green silk, backless dress from her closet. "Scar, you look great in green. Anderson's not going to know what hit him!" I told her with a smile. She thanked me, then we proceeded to do our makeup. Scarlet curled her hair and had dark eye makeup and looked amazing. She wore heels as well.

We decided to get some dinner and eat it at Star World before we open. "How about Urth Cafe?" Scarlet suggested once we got into her car. "Hell ya, we should probably eat healthy anyway considering how bad we ate in Vegas." I responded back to her. She agreed with a laugh and said, "Fuck, why is the best food so bad for you anyway." I agreed with her, then we picked up salads and smoothies and went to Star World to eat. We ate at the bar and just talked, until the guys showed up for work. "Really? No food for us!" Rocky said once he came in, noticing we were eating.

Easton saw our salads and said, "Yikes, I'm glad you guys didn't get us food. Eating healthy is so not my thing." We all laughed at Easton's reaction, then got ready to open. I could sense that Scar was nervous, but excited to see Anderson. It reminded me of when that guy Preston said he would stop by here, but I had false hopes and have not seen him. Sucks, he was really my type. No, he was even better than my type. Not like I want a relationship anyway though. We finally opened and business was booming, probably because it is a Friday night.
