"Peter! Get down here now!" Peter flinched subconsciously; Aunt May was shouting for him. That was never good.

He slowly opened his door and walked out of his room, trudging down the creaky stairs.

He came face to face with a drunk Aunt May holding a bottle of alcohol.

"Y-yes Aunt May?" Peter trembled. The woman was scary and abusive.

She growled at him and smashed her bottle in the wall. Peter gulped and took a step back.

"You made me waste my drink!" She slurred. Aunt May threw the now broken bottle at Peter, but he didn't move out of the way. He could've, but the last time he did that she punished him. He couldn't do anything about what was happening.

Peter cried out as the bottle made contact with his face. He could feel blood dripping down his face, and there were glass shards stuck in his neck and arms.

"Please stop! May, please!" Peter begged as his aunt smashed his head against the already bloody wall.

"You're the reason Ben's gone! You've teared my family apart! Everyone you love dies Peter!" Aunt May screeched at the small boy, rage and anger evident in her voice and facial expression.

"Please..." Peter whimpered softly as May dragged a large shard of glass down the side of his face, pressing hard so he would most definitely bleed.

Aunt May picked Peter up by the neck - it wasn't hard as he was so light from being underfed - and threw him into the wall again.

Peter let out a heart wrenching scream as his broken body came into contact with the hard wall.

"-ter! Peter, please wake up, please!" Tony shook Peter roughly, stirring the teenager and causing him to lash out, and panic.

"Kid, kid, calm down it's just me."

"Mr- Mr Stark?"

"Yes, that's me. Are you okay?"

Peter shook his head.

"The nightmare came back." He whispered, whimpering into Tony's shoulder.

"It's okay, kid. Don't worry, she isn't here. She can't hurt you anymore." Tony whispered softly to Peter in a reassuring voice.

Peter nodded.

"Is- can you take me to Loki? I-I need to be with hi-him." Peter sniffled, burying his head further into Tony's chest.

Tony stiffened, and bit his lip at the question. Should he tell Peter what really happened?

~This next part was quite hard to write as these things make me sad~

The cell door slowly creaked open, and a tall man walked into Loki's cell.

"Time to wake up, little jötun." The man spoke with a familiar Russian accent, sounding evil and creepy.

Loki's eyes fluttered open and he tilted his head up, trying to adjust to the light.

"Wh-where am I?" Loki stuttered, trying to edge away from the mysterious figure.

"Home. You're a vital part of Operation Arachnid." The Russian smirked, and unattached Loki's neck chain from the wall, tugging on it so the small teenager had to stand up.

Loki stumbled and used the dirty, grey wall for support as he was lead out of the room. He was immediately faced with a blinding white light, and the sound of scientific equipment.

"That room was what we call the Blackout Room. It's for subjects who step out of line or fail. Of course, we had to let a little light in when we left you there. Didn't want to send you loopy on your first day."

Loki gulped.

"Time for some tests, little jötun. We are going to unlock the rest of your genetic code, the part that Odin buried." The man smirked at Loki, and dragged him into a large, plain room that had a small medical bed in the middle. Next to it was a tray full of separate injections.

Loki whimpered subconsciously and tried to step back, only to collide with another man, wearing a white lab coat and a needle in his hand.

"This won't hurt a bit." The man grinned at him and stabbed the needle into Loki's arm. The last thing he saw before everything went black was the lights of the strange room grow brighter.

I'm so sorry!
