Dream

On April 25th, Dream spawned in a newly created world. The green-clad sandy-haired player that had taken the Minecraft universe by storm adjusted his smiley face mask with a grin.

He was the actor, and Minecraft was his stage.

"We're embarking on a new journey! Hurry up George! Come join my server, the Dream SMP!"

The first people invited by Dream were Georgenotfound (George), Sapnap, Callahan, ItsAllysa, Awesamdude (Sam), Ponk, and Badboyhalo (Bad).

Later on, Tommyinnit (Tommy), Wilbur Soot, Tubbo, Fundy, Punz, Purpled, Skeppy, and Eret joined the SMP.
Don't try to memorize all those names.

A couple of (slightly boring) things happened, detailed in the Dream SMP wiki, but the true lore started when Wilbur Soot joined the server...
