Tory pov

"It happened to you too?" I asked Ben.

He nodded. "Yesterday afternoon."

"Me too!" Hi exclaimed. "I was playing my PS3 when I felt something inside me. At first, I thought I was going to puke, but then it vanished. When I started playing again, I was pushing buttons so fast the system was behind."

Shelton added, "I flared yesterday too."

I began to hope. Could the Virals be back?

"We need to check with Chance and Ella," I said. "And see if they've been flaring."

"Do we really?" Ben asked.

I glared at him. "Yes. I trust you can keep your temper under control for a little bit, right?"

He sighed dramatically. "Fine."
