"Rough day?" Yachi asks softly, that small frown on her lips.

"Little bit, yeah." Kuroo sighed softly, but did smile. "How was your day, Kitten?"

"Nope, not yet. I have to make you feel better." Yachi said, reaching up to squish Kuroo's cheeks between her hands. He still had to lean down. "What are you?"

"An idiot Sandwhich." Kuroo said, voice a little funny from his cheeks being squished.

Yachi gave Kuroo a deadpan look. "What are you, Tetsurou."

Kuroo sighed dramatically, but repeated the mantra Yachi made him memorize.

"I'm strong, I'm smart, and can do anything."

"And?"

"And you're really cute, and I love your soft hands."

"K-Kuroo, that's not it."

Kuroo smiled wryly, reaching up to place his hands atop her's.

"It's okay to have a bad day, but we need to talk about it."

"That's right." Yachi nodded once, then smiled slightly. "My day was good." She replied to his earlier question. "Got out way early, so I decided to come see you. I was actually in the area anyway with my Mother, so don't get all protective over the thought of me coming all the way to Tokyo by myself."

Kuroo smiled softly, nodding a bit. "Thank you for coming to see me." He said quietly, moving closer to place a small kiss to her forehead. "I needed you."

'I love you.'

"I kind of needed to see you too." Yachi said with a small blush and a smile, standing up on her tiptoes to place a chaste kiss to his lips.

'I love you too.'
