• Soft Moments (ft. Atsumu)

The last few days had been rough on Atsumu- for reasons he hadn't told Kuroo yet- so Kuroo had an idea for date night. They'd order takeout, binge watch their shared favorite show, snuggle and then probably sleep the night away.

However right as they were entering the apartment, Kuroo's neighbor came out to talk to him. Atsumu wasn't really in the mood to socialize, so he just kissed Kuroo on the cheek, whispering a soft 'I'll be inside' before pulling back. He flashed a polite smile at the woman before entering the apartment to wait for his boyfriend to quit being the social guy he is.

The second Atsumu sat on the sofa, Kai came up to him and demanded love. Five minutes later and Atsumu was lying down with the cat. A few minutes after that and the blonde was passed out on the sofa; cat snuggled up to his side and soft snores leaving his lips.

"Sorry-" Kuroo began when he finally entered, but immediately stopped when he realized Atsumu was very much asleep. A soft smile came to his lips, and he quietly closed and locked the door behind him. He slid his shoes off and quietly hung his keys up on the peg by the door before going about changing into more comfortable clothes.

After changing into sweats and a hoodie, he grabbed the blanket he had in his closet and quietly entered the living area again. "Cute." He murmured under his breath as he tip-toed over to Atsumu and gently draped the blanket over him. He moved a bit but otherwise didn't wake, nor did the cat.

Kuroo stepped back to take a few pictures of his boyfriend being adorable, before putting his phone away and going to the kitchen to quietly make dinner. They could have takeout and tv shows some other time; now it was make dinner and let Atsumu rest up before snuggling and maybe a movie.

It was the small things that meant the most.
