the vintage aesthetic was formed from the modern recreation of the 70s-90s style, vintage is an umbrella term used to refer to aesthetics that evoke a certain period, or a mixture of periods, from the past, this contains a brief overview of the last 120 years in aesthetics.
this aesthetic usually consists of passing trends, anything 'old fashioned' and degrading photo/video quality to take on the role as "vintage".
