Ashlee: 

        When I get home, I see my mom and dad preparing themselves for tonights meeting. The meeting of the towns werewolves that is. Being sixteen and still having trouble with my powers, I'm not aloud to go yet. "Hey mom.", I say as I walk in the door. "Hey Ash. How was practice?", she asks, making sure she had her pendant on. "It was fine. Hey mom, can I ask you a question?", I say, setting my stuff down and standing next to the counter. 

        "Sure.", she replies, turning around to look at me. "Well, today's my one year anniversery with Ariana. And, I was wondering...if I could take her out tonight?", I ask nevously. She looks down at her feet, then says, "Ashlee, I know you really like her. But...you can't risk it. You still haven't gotten control of your powers." "But mom, I can control it. I know I can. I've been practicing. I know what to do and what not to do.", I argue. 

        "Okay Mr. Know It All.", my dad suddenly says from behind me. "You might think you can control it, but you can't. You're staying here tonight.", he continues. "But...", I begin, before being interrupted by Tanner and Skylar. "Later guys. We're going out.", Tanner says as they both run down the steps and head for the door. "What do you mean you're going out?", mom asks. "Me and the guys are having a bonfire.", Tanner said. "And I'm meeting my friends at a new club.", Skylar added. 

        "No. You're staying here and watching Ashlee.", dad said. "What? Dad that's not fair!", Tanner says angrily. "Yeah. He's sixteen. He can take care of himself.", Skylar said. "But he can't control his powers. Just...watch him.", mom says as they walk out the door. "You're such a buzz-kill.", Tanner said, pushing past me. "Take it easy. I took you a while to get your powers under control to Tanner.", Skylar replied, walking over to me. 

        Tanner gives her an angry glare and says, "Fine. You watch him. I can control my powers, and I'm going out." He quickly grabs his jacket and heads straight out the door, leaving me and Skylar alone. "Sorry you can't go to that club.", I apologize. "It's cool.", she replies, sitting down and picking up the TV remote. I look at her and say, "Go." She quickly looks back and says, "No. I have to stay here with you.", she says. "No you don't. I'll be fine.", I tell her, handing her her jacket. "You're sure?", she asks. "Yeah. I'm Mr. Know It All remember?", I say with a laugh. She gives me a smile and heads off. "No blinds open. No moon.", she warns me. "Goodbye Skylar.", I say, waving at her with a grin.
