16) Ultimate Betrayal

"Y/n... is this who you are now?" Miruko asked with her eyes wide at your state of mind.

"Miruko... glad to see you here as well" you said holding onto Dabi's arms. "Loved that you could make it to this delightful day!"

"Cut the shit Y/n. This isn't you. You're a pro hero!" Miruko yelled.

You shrugged. "Yeah, once I was. Until bird fuck over there ruined it all" you said pointing at Hawks. "Plus, I got someone way better than him." You said looking at Dabi's eyes, then lips. Dabi got the message and leaned in to kiss you.

Hawks and Miruko's jaws opened as they watched the scene. Hawks felt his whole heart shatter as you and Dabi were kissing. When you two pulled away, you laughed at his expression.

"Remember what I said... huh Keigo? We are over, and so is your life" you said as Dabi put up his palm and shot his blue flame towards Miruko and Hawks.

"Y/n! You don't have to do this" Miruko pleaded. "Please come back to us, we are worried sick."

"Oh but Miruko. I can't come back after they find out what I did. Y'know, killing off Mimi. Keigo, show her the present I had" you laughed as Dabi continued to shoot his fire.

Miruko looked at Hawks with fear in her eyes. Hawks gulped and slightly nodded telling her that it was true.

"Damn it Y/n. I didn't want to do this but if it requires, then I'll do it" she said jumping towards you and going hand to hand combat with you.

As you and Miruko went in hand to hand combat, Dabi attacked a crying Hawks. While in battle, Toga and Twice released a Nomu to help them against Tojo who was also there.

(Side note: I legit forgot about Tojo so you won't see much of him)

"Why would you join them Y/n. You're better than this" Miruko said, her voice filled with cracks.

"Admit it Miruko. You thought of me this way when we first met. You thought of my quirk as a monster" you said while kicking her in the stomach.

Miruko coughed out blood and looked at you with hurt eyes. "Y/n we are best friends! Come back to your senses"

"My senses are still here." You said walking up to Miruko. "They are just more aware of my surroundings." Right when you said that, you ducked your head from Hawk's sharp feathers.

Miruko barely got time to duck and almost got hit by them. In fear, she looked at you with tears coming out of her eyes.

"Y/n it can be just you and me! Hawks can stay out of us." She pleaded while punching your cheek.

You hissed at the pain and wiped the dirt off your face.  You watched as Miruko tried to refrain herself from attacking you, though that didn't stop you from attacking her.

"Miruko... I've always hated you." You said as you punched her in the face followed by a bit a flame. Once Miruko was distracted, you began to run towards Dabi to help him.

Miruko groaned in pain as she felt her cheek swell up. Before you could get away, she jumped over to you, tackling you to the cold ground.

"Y/n" Miruko said with clenched teeth. "Why... why are you doing this?"

Miruko put you in a chokehold and held you there, as you coughed for air. Your eyes were filled with tears, not from the chokehold, but from what you just said to Miruko.

"I do... what's best for everyone I love." You then activated your quirk making everything around you blow up in flames. Miruko quickly jumped away from you to save herself from the fire.
