8) Broken Love

As the party continued, the heroes around you started to get more frisky with one another. Some were dancing like crazy, others were drinking their asses off.

"Damn Miruko" you said dancing with her. "Can't believe we did all of this"

"I know right!" She yelled twirling you around. "This is pretty fun though"

As you and Miruko were dancing, you were stopped by Hawks. Of course, he took your hand and started dancing with you while Miruko went away to go grab herself some drinks.

"Damn doll, you look nice in that dress" Hawks said looking at you as he twirled you around very slowly.

"Fucking perv" you laughed playfully slapping his arm. "I saw those eyes Keigo"

Hawks laughed as well and closed his eyes to annoy you. "How do you like this huh?"

"Stop being smart with me bird." You said looking around to see if Mimi was around him. "Where's Mimi?"

"Oh her? I don't know, she got drunk somewhere or something" Hawks said with his eyes slightly wide. "She doesn't matter though, it's all you tonight."

As you and Hawk's locked eye contact, the music beats slowed down and changed into a slow-dance song. Hawks held your hand tighter and kissed it.

"May I have this dance?" He asked with his lips still on your hand.

"You may" you blushed gently putting your feet on his.

When you got on his feet, his wings spread out as he flew you up in the air. With the sound of "awes" and "woahs" you knew everyone was looking at you and Hawks.

"Hey, don't look at them, keep your eyes on me..." he then leaned towards your ear. You could even feel his breath. "Only me."

"Alright bird. Lead the way" you whispered laying your head against his chest as he pulled you close.

When the song was over, Hawks flew back down on the dance floor and let go of you carefully. As everyone watched, they erupted with cheers and claps then got back to dancing.

Just when everything was getting good, someone just had to ruin it.

"Alright... you two... you two had your fun." Said a slurred and annoying voice from not to far away.

"Woah Mimi, you had to much to drink" Hawks said grabbing her hand.

"Using her first name now?" You thought to yourself. "Being drunk isn't a good look on you Mimi."

"Shut up" she spat trying to hit you but she kept missing. "Hawks... dear, how bout we dance" she asked leaning into his chest. "C'mon"

You felt your blood boil at the sight of a girl touching your boyfriend like that. The worst part was that Hawks didn't even do anything about it and excused her saying that she's drunk.

"Hawks... remember when one night-" but then Mimi was cut off by Hawks grabbing her waist and looking at you with an apologetic face.

"Sorry doll, I got to take Mimi home, she's wasted by now" he then started to walk away very quickly.

As you were left in the dust with nothing but music surrounding you, you felt a hand touch your shoulder. You looked to your left to see Miruko with a confused face.

"Where is he going?" She asked you.

"Mimi got to drunk and he's taking her home." You said rolling your eyes. "She makes him look bad, don't ya think?"

"100%" Miruko agreed. "How bout we keep having fun, it's on me" she winked nudging your side.

"Bet" you said linking arms with her and dancing. "I'm sure he will be back soon, Keigo always comes back"

As Hawks flew through the air taking Mimi back to her house. Mimi had other plans. Currently she was in his arms pulled very close to his body.

"Hawks... why don't we just... stop at your house." Mimi said touching his cheek.

Hawks looked at Mimi with a frown. "How much did you drink?"

"That doesn't matter. I'm just very tired. Let's go to your house." She said with more urgency this time.

Hawks wanted to not go back to his house but it wasn't the best idea to go flying out around in the middle of the night. So from then and there, Hawks gave in and brought Mimi to his house.

When he opened the door and brought her inside, he plopped her onto the couch and was about to go back to the party when he was stopped.

"Mimi let go of my hand." Hawks said slightly annoyed.

"No." Mimi said holding his hand tighter while getting up. "Why did you pull me out of there? Do you not want your girlfriend to know about anything?"

"Anything about what?" Hawks said turning around to face her.

Mimi smirked then pulled Hawks in for a tender kiss. When Mimi was satisfied, she pulled back with flushed up cheeks. "About us babe." She then put her hand on Hawks feathers, slowly rubbing them.

"Mimi, I can't right now-" Hawks said trying to hold back his sensitive state of mind. "I need... to get back there..."

Mimi put her arms around Hawk's torso, purposely pressing her chest against his back. "Not when I'm here... how bout we go to the bedroom, I don't like this smell anyways..." she said kissing his neck.

"Mimi..." Hawks said quickly turning around and kissing her on the lips more rougher and hungrier.

Back At The Party

As the hours passed by and it was soon 2:00 am, you knew that Hawk's wasn't going to come back. During those hours, you tried to contact him via phone or even the feather necklace he gave you, still no answer.

"Miruko..." you said tapping your shoulder.

"Yeah y/n? Anything wrong?" Miruko asked with her voice slightly slurring. She had a bit to drink but it wasn't an overload.

"Have you seen Keigo? He hasn't came back has he" you frowned freaking out a bit.

When Miruko heard how your voice wavered, she became sober and frantically looked around for him. When she couldn't find the bird, she looked back at you.

"The party is done Anyways, let's take you back home." Miruko said grabbing your hand and leading you to the parked limo. Miruko got in after you.

When driving back to your house, you started to freak out even more. If it wasn't for Miruko comforting you, you would have been freaking out even more than you already were.

"Y/n, we are here. Let me know if you find Hawks... I'll see you tomorrow" she waved as you exited the limo.

You watched as the limo disappeared down the road then went to unlock the front door. Oddly enough, the door was already unlocked. When you walked in, you smelled the deep smell of love.

Your eyes widened when you heard sudden gasp and moans from your shared bedroom with Hawks. To your right stood two wine glasses half filled. When walking down the house hall, you saw pieces of clothing being scattered into a pathway. A pathway to your broken reality.

When you finally walked to the shared bedroom, the door was cracked open just enough for you to see what's going on inside.

Your eyes widened when you saw what was happening. You saw how both Hawk's and Mimi had flushed up faces and how they were naked on the bed your bought for only you and Hawks.

"Keigo..." you whispered opening the door just enough to get them to stop.
