Brooklyn dropped me off at my house... Then exited the gates and drove right next door to his house. That made me laugh. Once I saw he had for sure left, I turned and saw the envelope on my bed.

I knelt down right next to my bed and started to open the package. A tape recording, a locker, a picture, and a letter came out of it. Wow, just fan stuff. I looked at the package and turned it around to see the information on the front. It was from...

Veronica Withers.

My mothers maiden name was Withers. Her name was Katherine Withers.

All of a sudden my Grandma walked in. I quickly threw the pillow all of my stuff and sat there.

"Ariana, what are you doing?" My grandma asked.

"Um... Praying." I say. "And... Amen." My grandma just looks at me.

"Well okay, dinner with the Beckhams at 6 tonight! Love you!" My grandma said, knowing something was up.

"I might be a little late tonight!" I said to my grandma.

"Why?" My grandma asked.

"Well I promised Lea that I would go to... To... The movies with her and the girls so I can't back out now!" I lied to my grandmas face.

"Well okay, just come back as soon as you can!" She said smiling at me.

It was already 4:00. I had 2 and a half hours to put all the pieces together. I first decided to read the letter.

"Ariana,

This is Veronica Withers, your aunt. I didn't know how to tell you that you have family. You may have thought both if your parents were only children... But they weren't. Your mother was my older sister. She had already moved to college when I was born. We had one picture together, and it was put in a locket, which I sent in this package with you. I only got one picture with you, and I sent that too. If you ever have interest in meeting me I live at (make up an address) in London, England.

Thanks,
Your aunt Veronica."

Wow she seems so nice! I re-read the letter like 4 times. I looked at the locket, and looked at the picture from when I was at the hospital. Wow. I can't believe my mom never told me about her.

I was going to visit her. I mean I already used Lea as an excuse. I then saw the tape. I played it. It was her talking. And crying. Explaining how she never really got to meet me. It actually made me cry.

"What's wrong?" Brooklyn said standing at my doorway.

"Man, do you knock?" I said quickly shutting my laptop that I was playing the tape on.

"You okay?" He said sitting down next to me.

"Yes. Fine. Just I got something in my eye." I said acting like I was trying to get something out of my eye.

"Sure." Brooklyn said being sarcastic. "Well I have to go, but ill see you in like an hour!" Brooklyn said smiling.

"Don't plan on it!" I said grabbing my car keys.

"What? You won't be there?" Brooklyn said stopping at my doorway and looking at me.

"No sorry, um Lea." I said, lying.

"Lea!" He said, saying it really sarcastic.

"Well I have to go now!" I said walking out of my room.

"So do I!" Brooklyn said walking in front of me.

I dashed out of the house, even before Brooklyn.

"Lea needs me!" I yelled to my grandparents while running out of the house before they could even respond.

I jumped into my car, and backed up. Then drove straight to where my aunt lived in London.
