"What is it? I can handle it!" I said looking back at David.
The last time I got bad news, it was that my parents died... Nothing can be worse than that!
"Listen... Your grandparents got in a plane crash on their way back. They don't think they will survive, and they don't think Aubry will survive, either." He said.
Tears started to stream down my face. I was crying so hard. Everyone I live with ends up dying. Why? Why me?
"Ariana..." David started.
"Why is it always them? Why am I not the one dying? I'm the one who deserves it!" I said. I meant what I was saying.
"Don't say that Ariana!" He said. "You are a beautiful young girl, you deserve life."
"It's okay. I know I'm bad luck." I said, still crying and sniffling.
We got to the hospital and I ran inside.
"Where are they?" I said freaking out.
"Ariana Cooper?" The doctor asked.
"Yes!" I said. I had no time for questions.
"Room 216." He said looking at me.
I ran down the hall until I found 216. I ran in and saw the three hospital beds. I fell to the ground. I was crying so hard.
"Oh sweetie!" Victoria said as she sat next to me on the ground.
She hugged me. I was still crying.
"We are so sorry for your loses!" The doctor said as he walked in.
"I will let you say your goodbye's." Victoria said standing up and walking out of the room.
I stood up. I walked over to my Grandma first.
"Grandma. I love you!" I said as I hugged her. My tears fell onto her.
I then walked over to my Grandpa, I held his hand.
"This is all my fault. It is." I said. Then I let go.
Then I walked over to Aubry. I started to cry so hard when I saw her.
"I love you, so much." I said as I kissed her dead body. It was weird, but I felt I had to.
I had to walk away. I couldn't look at them any longer without falling to the ground again.
I walked out of the room. David and Victoria were there waiting for me. David hugged me. Then Victoria did.
"We have a coat for you, it's Brooklyn's but its the only one that was left in the car." David said as he wrapped Brooklyn's sweatshirt around me.
"Thank you." I said quietly.
"Everything will be okay, dear." Victoria said, putting her arm around me.
I realize they were just trying to make me happy, or at least comfortable, but nothing would work. I wasn't going to be okay. I was probably going to have to move in with Zoe and that will be a nightmare.
We drove back to the Beckham's.
"So what can we do for you?" David asked.
"I kind of just want to be alone for a little while." I said.
"That's fine. If you need anything we will be down here." Victoria said while she took her coat off.
I walked up the stairs with my head down. The boys didn't talk to me, which I was happy about. I just wanted to be alone.
I went into my room and shut my door. I locked it. I put my headphones on, and started watching 'Glee', I didn't know what to watch. Then I drifted off to sleep.
I woke up, and I looked at my clock. It was 8:30. I was woken up by a knock on my door. I stood up and walked towards the door, then I opened it. It was Victoria.
"If you would like, you can join us for dinner... But you don't have to, if you don't want to." Victoria said, rubbing my arm.
"I think I can just eat it up here." I said looking at her.
"That sounds fine, come with me, we can go get your dinner from downstairs." She said, grabbing my hand.
We walked downstairs and I got some food. I really wasn't hungry. I then took it up to my room.
I set it down next to my bed, and Harper ran into my room.
"You can't leave me!" Harper said, hugging me.
"I'll never leave you." I said hugging her back.
I was going to leave though. I'm probably going to get a knock on the door tomorrow and people will take me away from the Beckham's.
I ate my food, alone, while watching 'Glee'. I just don't want to think about my grandparents or Aubry. I just wanted life to be normal again.
"Hey Ariana, can we talk to you?" I heard Victoria yell from downstairs.
I got up, and walked down the stairs.
"We have something very important to talk to you about." Victoria said as she grabbed my hand. All the kids were standing in front of me with David.
"Ariana, we want to adopt you!"
