Chapter 4: Late night and Blobs

"You live here." He says as we walk up to the hotel.

"I guess." I shrug, he follows me inside and through the back into my hidden room.

"You live under the stairs?" He asks. "Don't you live with your parents?

"I used to but now I'm an embarrassment so I just avoid them." I throw my backpack on the floor. "Thanks for walking me home."

"Yeah, anytime." He smirks. "See you tomorrow." he leaves. I let out a loud sigh and fell on my bed. I grab my backpack and do my homework, when I finish it's around midnight. I grab my skateboard and mini backpack, stuff two energy drinks into the backpack and I leave the hotel. I skate in the middle of the road to the skate park. The streets were empty, the city was quiet. I close my eyes and just flow on the road.

"I don't know Chat. Sometimes I think love is pointless." I hear Marinette say. I look up and see Chat on the fence around the little porch on top of the bakery.

"I won't give up..." He replies. "But right now, there is a girl who doesn't like me and i don't understand why it's bugging me so much."

"Sometimes you just gotta try harder." She says. I continue to skate around a sharp corner making a noise going over a well. I pretend I heard nothing and keep skating.

"y/n!" I hear Marinette yell. I pull my skateboard up and look at her.

"HEY!" I yell back.

"Chat can you bring me down there?" she says. Chat grabs her waist and floats down.

"Whats up?" I ask.

"Why are you out so late?" She asks me, looking concerned.

"Let's go with family drama." I say. "Chat." I say looking at him and back at Marinette.

"You okay?" She asks.

"I am okay thanks for asking..." I smile back. "You should get some sleep." Marinette hugs me and Chat extends his stick bringing her back up to the porch. I set the skateboard back down and skate away.

"y/n!" I hear Chat yell from behind me.

"Whats up?" I say still skating.

"Why don't you like me?" He asks running next to me.

"Why do you think i don't like you..." I start, I stop my skateboard. "Maybe i like you do much i want to avoid you." I say pulling him in by the bell, I push him back and walk into the alley where the skating ramps are.

"Hey!" he says running after me. "You are the most confusing person I have ever met."

"Somehow I doubt that." I say climbing a ramp. I jump down onto the skateboard and go back and forth through the ramps.

"Woah..." He says watching me.

"What, never seen someone skate before?" I say flipping the skateboard into my hand.

"No it's just..." He starts.

"Dude you should sleep." I interrupt.

"So should you." He demands.

"If i go home will you?" I ask for hands on hips.

"Yes." He smirks. I jump on my skateboard and start heading home.

"Why do you keep doing that?" he says running after me.

"What?" I ask.

"The skating away thing." He pants.

"How else am i going to get away from you." I snark. He lets out a sarcastic laugh. I smile at him. We arrived at the hotel. "Bye." I say walking in.

"Bye?" He says turning around to go wherever. I walk into my room and sit on my beanbag, turn on the tv and watch some basketball.

KNOCK KNOCK

I walk over to the door. "What?" I sigh.

"Hey sugar plum." Plagg says flying in the doorway.

"Hey blob, come in." I say. He floats in.

"I have someone i want you to meet." He smiles.

"Is it Marinette's Kwamie?" I yawn.

"How did you...?" he says confused.

"It's obvious. I am surprised no one else noticed." I say plopping into my beanbag.

"No he meant me." I look over to see an old man wearing a Hawaiian shirt in my doorway.

"Hey blob's friend." I wave.

"Plagg, you're right she is perfect." He says.

"For what?" I stand.

"I present to you the emperor miraculously." He holds out a small necklace with a tiny crown pendant.

"So, i'm going to be like Adrien and Marinette?" I ask, putting it around my neck.

"Hello." A small gold bird-like thing says flying out of my necklace.

"Hi." I smile. "It's another blob."

"We are Kwami's not blobs." Plagg growls.

"Blob is so much easier to say." I sigh. "I am y/n."

"My name is Ladious." The tiny floating thing says.

"I'm gonna call you Lady." I shake her tiny hand.

"I like that." She smiles.

"Plagg! Why am i here." a tiny ladybug blob says flying through the wall.

"Another blob!" I say looking at her.

"We are Kwa-..." She starts.

"I tried that." Plagg says to the red blob.

"I am y/n!" I smile at her.

"Tikki." She says. "LADIOUS! I thought you were lost." Tikki says flying to Lady.

"I thought so too." They hug.

"AWW! A blob hug." I smile. Tikki glares at me, "sorry." I smile again.

"You are the girl Mari was taking too tonight." Tikki realizes.

"Yep thats me." I say.

"When you want to activate your Miraculous say, Lady crown me." the old man says.

"That's very demanding..." I start. "Can i say babe?"

"That would work...:" He starts to walk out. "I am Wang Fu if you need anything." I wave goodbye.
