Chapter 11
Francesca's POV
I felt myself falling deeper and deeper into the blistering cold water. I morphed back into my human self and tried to kick back up to the surface. After what seemed to be an eternity I broke through the water and breathed a breath of fresh air. I stared up above me, allowing myself a few minutes to catch my breath before turning around to see where Blake was. I looked around, seeing no silhouette or figure that would belong to Blake. Panicked, I called out his name before paddling to the edge of the deck.
I was pulling myself up onto the deck when I felt a hand on my ankle. I screamed and was once again engulfed into the waters that now felt warmer than before. I resurfaced and came face to face with Blake. I cried out in frustration before putting my hands on top of his head and pushing him below the water. I kept his like that for a few seconds, ignoring his struggles and then finally released him from my grasp.
"What the actual fuck Blake? I could of literally drowned. What the fuck is wrong with you?" I screamed at him. I swam furiously to the edge of the lake and climbed out. Ignoring the fact that I was stark naked and the cool air felt strange on my skin. I was not in the mood anymore.
I heard him come after me, and his calls for my attention but I refused to even look at him. "Francesca! I'm sorry! It was a joke! I didn't mean to take it that far. Love, I apologize!".
I let out a frustrated cry, spun around to face him then shouted, "Blake, why did you do it?".
"I was kidding, I didn't think that you would take it this seriously." He paused and grabbed my hips then pulled me to his chest. "Cessa, I love you, forgive me?" He kissed my lips softly and gave me a hopeful look.
I sighed and gave in. "Fine, but I'm going to get you back for that sooner or later."
He chuckled, "I know. You do realize that we're both naked, right?"
I blushed furiously and ignored his ... love stick ... slowly growing harder. I pushed away from him then ran back into the lake quickly so he wouldn't see anything else. He quickly followed suit and dived off the wooden deck splashing my face with water.
Me and Blake swam around for a while, hanging around the lake and when the day was coming to a close, I found myself sitting with Blake on the deck with our feet hanging over the edge. Our hands were entwined and our thighs brushing against one another. I rested my head in the crook of his neck, looking up at the sunset through the trees.
"Thank you."
Blake turned his head slightly to look at me, "What for?"
"It's been a really good day, This place is beautiful, I wish we could stay here forever, watch the sunset and sunrise as we grow old." I sighed at the end of my sentence, taking in my surroundings all over again.
"Me too. I found this place when I was little, I had an argument with my dad over Ice cream. Even though now it sounds a bit stupid I was only 5 years old and it got my really angry. I ran away from home and came across this place. No one knows about it." He released our hands then pulled me onto this lap. "This is our place now, You can come here whenever you want. This place and the meadow. They're ours."
His words brought tears to my eyes. Call me sad but I'm a romantic. I kissed his lips ever so softly and pulled him into a strong hug. "I love you so much Blake. I can't wait to have your pups, Ones that have the same gorgeous brown eyes as you, the same attitude, same everything - with a little bit of me too."
He grinned and kissed me on the lips, then my cheeks, nose, forehead then finally on my eyelids. Soon after that I felt my eyes drooping and finally close.
