Sky is the limit (Justice Crew fan fiction)

Chapter 1

"Are you ready darling?" My aunt Susan asked. "Yes, I am, leaving now! Wish me luck!" I said in a nervous way. Of course I was nervous, I have to go to my new high school. "Good luck honey, you'll be fine. See you at home for few hours" I left the house and headed to the school. It was 15 minutes away, so I walked to it. I was thinking about how my life actually sucks. I don't have no one here except my aunt. She's the only family for me. Well... I should talk about my parents, shouldn't I? So, first of all, my sister left home when I was 8 years old, she was 16 then. I don't even remember how she looks like, we haven't heard nothing from her since she left. And then, at the middle of last year, I was driving in the car with my parents. We lived in New York, busy city, you know. My dad was driving fast and I remember only that my mum screamed "ANTHONY, LOOK OUT!" After that I don't remember anything. I know only that I was in the hospital, that my aunt was there and that she told me that I have to go with her to Sydney, because... my parents are dead, they died in the car accident and I survived. And now when I'm thinking about that tears are coming in my eyes, you can only imagine how hard that was. Then I moved here and this might be a new start. Who am I kidding? I remember that in New York no one never liked me. Girls didn't liked me because they thought I am gorgeous and almost every second boy liked me. But I wasn't someone who everyone would like to be friends with. Anyway, maybe people are different here.

"Woooaaa, watch out!" Yea', one girl bumped into me, okay, that much about how everyone is different here. "Sorry!" I said and moved on. I headed straight to the headmaster and I tried to avoid strange looks from all around. Next thing to do was to go on maths. I sat in the last row, in the middle. On my right side was one very cute boy and on my left side was a cute boy too. Well, even in front of that cute guy on my right was another cute guy! That's where I thought this is going to be good. The boy from my right side said "Hello there, are you new here? I'm Len Pearce, you can call me Lenny. That guy over here is my twin brother, John" Then John turned and said "Hello" with a huge smile on his face. Then I heard "Hi, I'm Solo" from the guy on my left side. And, oh my God, I totally forgot to introduce myself! "Nice to meet you all, I'm Lisa, and yes, I'm new here, I moved to Sydney few months ago" Well, then I stopped, 'cause I was sure they didn't want to know everything about me. Teacher came in and prevented our further conversation. "We will talk later and meet you with the rest of our crew" said John. Then I was thinking - what crew? Like, gang or? Okay, nevermind, I will wait.

When the bell rang we went out of the classroom and went to the backyard. Wow, it was huge. But it wasn't something unknown, I had the same in my old school. "Come on, there they are" Lenny said to me, taking my hand and trying to make me go faster. "I am going" I pulled my hand out of his, it was awkward. He just looked at me with a smile and said "As you wish". On the bench were sitting 4 more boys. They all introduced themselves to me. There were Samson, Lukas, Emmanuel (Emman) and Paulie. They were all in a good mood and they were joking with me. "So, this is the crew you were talking about?" I said to John. "Yes, we are Justice Crew" He said with proud in his voice. "Hahah, oh, really? Are you kidding me? Justice? Hahaha" Then I saw that everyone has weird and serious look on their faces, so I choked and said "Um, I'm sorry. So, are you famous here or?" Emman said "Well, I can say that everyone knows us, we're not that much famous. You know, we can dance, we can sing, and stuff. But for our souls. And we also teach kids in our free time, it's fun" He smiled and then I saw how perfect smile he has. "Aw, that's nice!" I said that and huge grin was on my face. I heard the bell and said "Should we go on the class?" Everyone started to laugh, I didn't know what's wrong. "What's so funny?" I said with a smile on my face. I didn't want to look serious to them. I actually wanted them to see my real, funny side, but we have just met today, so there's time. Well, if they even continue to hang out with me. "We are going on every second class or we go only on one class, usualy" Paulie said. "I don't understand? You're like almost not going to school?" I said with serious look on my face. Lenny said "That's right, you have a problem with that? If you do, you can go on next class" Then I heard the bell again which meant that class has started and there was no way that I could get there now. "Well, I guess I will stay with you guys" I said and sat on the bench next to Samson. "So, tell us something more about you" Said Samson and everyone looked at me, waiting for me to start. "Erm, I think I don't have much things to say" I said and turned my head on the other side. I really think it's to early to tell my life story to them. Maybe some other time. "And guys, what else do you do in your free time?" I asked, trying to make them forget that they wanted to know more about me. Then they started to talk about themselves and I thought "Oh, thanks God, I got away with this one" But one day I will have to tell them. "So, would you like to hang out with us more often?" Lukas asked me with a huge smile on his face. "Yes, please, you seem like a nice person!" Solo said after Lukas. Wow, I couldn't believe that I actually look like a nice person to someone. Maybe everyone really is different here! "Well, that won't be a problem for me, so, sure!" I said and smiled at them. "Yay! We can also show you few moves so you can dance with us sometimes!" John said, he seemed very sweet. But Lenny was the one who at the moment would be really nice and at the other moment he would be a bit rude. I don't know, maybe it's because he hasn't built an opinion about me. I don't think anyone has. When the bell rang again it was break time. Everyone got out of their classrooms and went out in the backyard. Few girls were watching me very strange, like they were cutting me into pieces with their looks. "What's wrong with them?" I said and pointed at those girls. "Oh, they're just jealous bitches" Paulie said and everyone started to laugh. "Well, it's not like they have to be jealous of me" I said and looked at the ground. "You look amazing, they should be jealous. And also you're hanging here with us" Lenny winked at me and smiled. Whoa, I wasn't expecting that. I was expecting something like "They shouldn't be jealous of you, you're not so special" or something like that, but no, he keeps surprising me. I saw one girl heading to the place where we were. I thought "Oh, here we go, she will say now something rude to me, I'm prepared!" Then suddenly she sat on Solo's lap and kissed him, on the lips! "Oh, Lily, this is Lisa, she's new her" Said Solo, showing her who he was talking about. "Hey" I said and smiled, she smiled back. Then she continued "Nice to meet you, I hope we will spend more time together. I don't have any female friends here, I only hang out with them, because of those jealous..." Paulie interrupted her and said "Bitches!" We started to laugh, then I said "Oh, I would love to spend more time with all of you, I don't have any friends here." Everyone looked at me weird and they all rised their eyebrows. "What?" I said in a confused way. "Oh, I see. NOW I have friends, right?" I said and smiled. Everyone said "YEEES" and we started to laugh. Okay, this day became better, I actually forgot of all problems which were running in my head.

When the first day in my new school was over, my aunt came to pick me up. I said "bye" to my new friends and I left. I had only Lily's phone number and that was fine. "So, how was your first day?" Aunt Susan asked me. I choked and said "Actually, it was pretty good, I already made friends with some people" She gave me a serious look and said "Speak. What have you done?" Oh my God, how she even knows that I have done something wrong? "Nothing." I said and looked in the other side. "Okay. So, you like people there, everyone is okay?" She asked, she was really curious. "Yes, everyone is okay, they treat me well, don't worry" I said. Then we continued to talk about those people who I met. And I told her that I was only on one class, she just knew that I have done something wrong. But she was okay with it. She is 27 years old, so she understands puberty and stuff.

We arrived home and I went straight upstairs to my bedroom. I was on my computer, searching for the guys on facebook. I had a friend request from Lily and I accepted her. I didn't want to add the boys, I thought it would be fine if I wait few more days to see how things will go on. I was tired and decided that I should go to sleep. I was lying in my bed and thinking about them. How awesome is that, it was my first day in new school and I already made friends with so nice and popular people. Wow. Maybe I'm overreacting. My last thought was Lenny and the way he treated me. I just have to find out why he's so strange. Maybe I'm imagining that, but we'll see.
