Chapter 19

After 10 days...

Diego and I were hanging out together every day, also I was talking to Lenny every day, except today. I don't know why he didn't call me, Lily told me that he and Emman left, she didn't tell me where they went, I guess Lenny will tell me.

"Is everything okay?" Diego said and smiled. I said "Yeah, everything's cool" We had a nice time together, we were swimming and fishing. Later we sat on the sand by the sea. Time was passing fast, I didn't even realize. Diego said "Um, Lisa... I want to tell you something..." I said "Okay, tell me?" I heard Susan calling me so I said to Diego "Sorry, I'll be back in a minute" He said "No problem" And I went inside. "Yes aunt?" I said while approaching to Susan. "Nothing, I wanted to ask if you're hungry" She said and smiled, she was a bit nervous, like she wanted to tell me something but she couldn't. I said "No, I'm not hungry" I looked at her suspiciously, trying to figure out what she's hiding from me. But, she continued to smile so I simply said "Susan, you want to tell me something else?" She laughed and said "No, hun, you can go now, Diego's waiting for you, right?" I said "Yeah" while turning and heading towards the door. Before I left, I turned towards her and said "I'll find out what you're hiding" but she just smiled again, so I left.

Diego was standing there, waiting for me. I approached to him and said "Okay, tell me now what you wanted?" He said "Okay, so... Ugh, I don't know how to say it!" I smiled and said "Nah, just say it" He looked me in the eyes and smiled, I looked at the ground and said "So?" He started "You know... From the day I met you... I don't even know, I just..." He has been interrupted by very familiar voice, I heard someone screaming "LISA, BABY!" I turned and saw Lenny and Emman coming. I couldn't believe that he actually came here! I was so happy and I ran towards him, he started running also. He raised me up and hugged me tightly, I wraped my legs around his waist and kissed him on the forehead. When he put me down I approached to Emman and kissed him on the cheek. I said "What are you guys doing here?" Lenny said "I've been missing you so much, can't help it, I'm in love..." Emman screamed "A DAY WITHOUT YOU IS LIKE A YEAR WITHOUT RAIN" I started laughing, then I looked at Lenny, he was smiling and constantly looking at me. I hugged him again and whispered "I'm so happy because you came, I love you so much, I realized that I can't spend a day without your voice, without you..." He looked me in the eyes and put his hands on my cheeks, he said "Lisa, I'm glad to hear that. I thought we are... over. That you won't come back" Emman added "He was frustrated, he had a smile on his face only while he was talking to you, so I had to come here with him" I smiled and said "Oh, really?" Lenny said "Yes" and made a puppy face. I kissed him on the lips and said "Let's go back to Sydney today?" Emman said "Who's that?" pointing at Diego, who was behind us. Lenny finally noticed him and said "Yeah?" I said "Oh, just a friend, he's our neighbour" Lenny said "Woo, okay then, and yes, about going back, actually, I wanted to ask if we could stay here with you till tomorrow? Because we have tickets for tomorrow and you can get your till then" I said "Great, I'll tell Steven to get me a ticket, okay, let's go inside now" I don't know why, I didn't want to introduce them to Diego. I felt that something bad would happen.

But, as soon as we wanted to go inside, Diego said "Oh, Lisa, you don't want to introduce me to your... friends?" I turned around and said "Um, yeah, sure" Lenny noticed that I was upset so he asked "What's the matter? He's just a friend, isn't he?" His had serious look and I can say he was upset to. I laughed and said "He's just a friend, oh my God, Len" He put his hand on my waist and pulled me closer to him, he whispered "Yeah baby, I am your God" He had that cheeky smile on his face which made me laugh. I was so happy because he was there, I missed him so much. Emman approached to Diego and said "Ciao bro, I am Emmanuel" Diego smiled and said "I am Diego, nice to meet you" Then Lenny introduced himself and Diego wasn't happy at all. I didn't know why, I mean, he knew that Len is my boyfriend anyway. Susan came out and saw Len and Emman, she shouted "Oh my! Steven, Lenny and Emmanuel are here! Boys, come inside!" They went towards the house. Before joining them, I asked Diego "What you wanted to tell me?" He said "I love you" I laughed and said "Aw, I love you too! See you later then, I'll come to say goodbye" He said "But... No. You love your boyfriend, Lisa" My smile disappeared. I said "Oh... Diego, I'm sure you'll be fine, you'll find another girl and you'll fall in love. I truly believe in that, and you should to. It was nice meeting you, and I'm sure I'll see you soon again. Let's just stay friends?" He smiled and said "Fine, as you wish" And I went into the house.

Susan said "You're finally here!" and she hugged Len and Emman. I asked "Um, finally here? You knew they're coming?" They laughed and Steven said "Yes, we knew. We didn't want to tell you, we wanted to surprise you" I said "Well, I am surprised!" and I hugged Len and Emman. I went with them upstairs, showing them where they're going to sleep. We were in the room where Emman should be, we were talking about everything what was happening back in Sydney, while I wasn't there. They told me that Brian, Len's and John's brother, will be their manager, and that they're planning to collaborate with Jay Sean. Which is pretty awesome, of course! And I just couldn't wait to go back there, to see the other boys and Lily specially! Steven came in and said he found a ticket for me so I'll be able to go with them back to Sydney tomorrow. Steven and Susan will stay few more days, maybe one more week, who knows. We spent the day together, walking on the beach, swimming and stuff. It was getting dark so we went back home. Emman and Lenny were tired, so we had dinner and we went to our rooms.

I was lying in the bed, I had an idea. I went to Len's room, it seemed like he was already sleeping, so I just laid beside him. I was just staring at him, he was so cute while sleeping. I touched his hair and he opened his eyes. Huge smile came on his face when he saw me, he hugged me tightly and said "Are you real? Am I dreaming?" I laughed and said "I'm here, I'm real, sleep now" He said "But promise that you won't go back to your room?" I said "I promise" We kissed and I leaned my head on his chest.

Susan came to wake us up in the morning, we had to go to the airport. When I saw her, I said "I'm sorry because I slept here, I just-" she interrupted me saying "I know, you missed each other, that's totally fine, I trust you. Just wake him up and come downstairs, Emmanuel already ate breakfast, we're waiting for you two" I smiled and said "Thank you, we'll be there in a few minutes" and she left the room. I kissed Lenny's lips softly, saying "Good morning, love, wake uuup, we have to go" But he just turned on the other side. I laughed and then I jumped on him, as he didn't want to wake up. He started laughing and said "Okay, I'm awake!" He had a cheeky smile on his face, I asked "What?" and I smiled. He hugged me and we switched places, so he was on top. I laughed and said "Len, someone can come in, just get up, we have to go" He kissed me softly and said "Damn, I missed you" I said "I missed you too, love you" He kissed me again, then we got up. I went to my room to change clothes and to pack everything, leaving Lenny in his room.

After one hour everything was ready, we put our things in Steven's car, we said goodbye to Susan, then Diego showed up. I totally forgot I said I will come to say goodbye. I said "I wanted to come to your house now, but this is even better" He smiled and said "I know you wouldn't come, but never mind, I came to see you before you leave, who knows when I'll see you again" Lenny looked suspiciously at him, with one raised eyebrow. I said "Um, that's not true, but okay. We have to go now. I hope I'll see you soon, have fun here and try to find love of your life!" He hugged me and said "I will try, we'll talk soon at least" Emman and Lenny waved at him and he waved back. While we were in the car Emman said "Who is that guy anyways? It seems like he likes you, Lisa" Lenny looked at me and said "I wanted to ask the same question" I said "It's not my fault. He likes me. But I swear, nothing happened. I told him that I have boyfriend and that's all" I was worried because it seemed like Len is upset. Steven turned the radio on, because for the rest of ride we didn't talk. When we arrived at the airport, we said goodbye to Steven and we went inside.
