ch 21

I slow my bike to a stop.

I needed some air.

Those memories are horrible. I needed to calm down.

I looked upon the lake. Then went big then in and cooled off.

I rest my head on the bank.

There was a thug and i opened my eyes and saw all might.

Jason your dead.

"You alright zilla" he asked.

I looked away from him.

"I saw you here and came over. Can you tell me whats wrong" he asked

So jason didnt call him.

Your lucky.

I stood up and walked onto land and was normal.

But i stood there drenched and crying.

He hugs me.

"Why is it your always uspet when i show up" he said

"Im fine. I just over reached and triggered some memories is all" i said

I was shivering.

He wasnt in hero clothes so he put his coat around me.

"Uh you looked cold" he saie nervously.

My tail sways a bit faster.

"Uh thanks i guess" i said looking away

He made me face him and he wiped a tear away.

I smiled and giggled.

"Smooth all dork" i said

He lets go.

"Uh sorry" he said "Um care to talk about it."

He sat on a bench near and gestured me to sit.

I did.

"Thr last 5 years i fought 2 months in every country i could. To learn how to take on any diaster and villain i could. In tge mid west where there was war was te hardest ans alot of people died. And alot that i saved did as well. And i lost it on the interns for they were complaining about us training not doibg hero work. And then i said with out you crime would go up and they'd be screwed. For they wouldnt know what to do" i said

"Your hard on them. But i understand why" he said

"Then i got worked up and left and found this body of water and laid in it" i said

"Are you alright now" he asked

"I guess" I said

I was still wet.

I take off his jacket and put it down on the bench.

And i burst into flames and was dry.

Then i put my hand above the jacket and it steamed out and i gave it back.

"Thanks all dork. Your very cheesy and a gentleman" i said "I guess thats because yout old. Old people are old school. Letter? Cheesy text? Coat to keep me warm?"

He blushed.

"well I guess" he said

I smiled.

"your acting like a school boy. Are you alright. A man like you should be fine" I said

"yes I'm fine" he said

I touch his forehead.

"your face is hot. Do you need water or something" I asked

"i think your doing this on purpose" he said

"nah just worried" I mocked him.

He laughs.

Then my phone went off.
I answer.

"what Jason" I said

"1 I hope you come Back and 2 there is a fire 3 blocks from you" he said

"Scheiße" I exclaimed in german.

I clear my throat.

"got it" I said

Then hang up.

"gotta cut this short." I said "um bye"

And I ran off.

I hope on my bike and get there.

And it's about 20 minutes in already.

Its an apartment.

I  used my strength and jumped up to the 3rd floor and went through a window.

And I searched for the source.

Stove.

Then I checked for people. There was only a cat.

I then jumped out and land.

Then the family came over to the cat.

"it was a gas stove fire. I turned it off. Should be helpful" I said to the fire fighter.

He nods and they take it out. Then I went back to the base.

And went into the chamber and cooled off.

"glad your okay" Jason said

"I cooled off as well. I have a game play guys. Sorry I lectured you. Being a hero is my life" I told the kids as I dry my hair "don't assume we won't do hero work. You both aren't that great at combat. I brought you here to help you change that. And we will do things like the other heroes. But I don't do as the other's for I'm doing this on my own."

"Jason explained that" pinky said "and were sorry as well"

I nod.

"pizza" I said

"on it" Jason said

"pizza." pinky said excitedly.

"yeah. Either fast food or Jason makes food. It's how we usually eat" I said

"alright. 45 minutes. And I got 50 pizzas and 6 for you guys and me" Jason said

"50" the boy said

"I eat alot. Especially after I do  hero work" I said

They nod and then we just relax. I cough a bit. Damn smoke.

They thanked me.

I ate the 50 easy.

My phone went off.

"things okay"

"fine all dork. Sorry to leave you hanging. Had to deal with a fire. Everyone was okay. Only a cat was in the fire"

"glad no one was hurt."

"yeah it was"

"have a good evening"

"you as well"

"who you texting I'm your only friend" Jason said

"whats it to you" I said

"hey just asking" he said

"it must be all might" pinky joked.

"no" I said

"come on you guys are perfect for each other. Enimies to friends" she said

"why does people want us to be together. No good will come from it. Plus the press will be all over me constantly. It will be in the future but not right now. Not needed especially if I'm starting out as a hero" I said

"but then again it would be good as well" Jason said

"okay let's drop this" I said

They did.
