I woke up and toshi was gone. I got up and felt his spot it's cold.
I stumbled out of bed. I began to worry.
Then i found him setting the table. He had a red appron on.
"Whats going on" i asked
"Shoot. You were supposed to sleep in more." He said "i was gojng to wake you when it was ready. Um happy Valentines day. I was trying to make you breakfast."
My facial expresion softened.
"Um, thank you" i said
He smiled and we sat down and ate together.
"Its good." I told him.
"Im glad." He said
"Zina. Shower and get dressed after. Were going out" he said
I nod.
After i showered and went to my room and saw a box on my bed. I open it to find a dress.
Dress?
I sigh, its just for today. I hate dresses. I put it on. It was beautiful. And i hate these things.

Well its blue-ish.
I walked out. And he was in his yellow suit.
"Wow you look gorgeous" he said
I blush.
"I dont wear this type of stuff. Im only wearing it for you" i said
"Oh what about that dress you wore at the party. Did you wear that one for me too" he asked
My face felt hot.
"Shut up" i said "curious George called they want the man in the yellow suit's clothes back"
"Ha, ha. Now lets get going" he said
I sigh. We walked and held hands. I was embarrassed to wear these type of clothes outside. This isnt me.
But he likes it so i will bear with it.
We get to the coffee shop and order what we usually do.
"So valentines day is today." He said
"I know" i said
"I have stuff prepared for today. I hope you dont mind it" he said
"Toshi, im going to do what you like today. So dont worry." I said "thats why im wearing this embarrassing thing"
He looked a bit hurt.
"No, i mean" i began.
Fuck i already screwed up.
"Were suposed to do stuff together that i thought wed both enjoy. You didnt have to wear the dress" he said
"No, you placed it out for me to wear. I thank you, but this isnt me and i feel very embarrassed. But i will wear it because you want me to. And im not good at this livers thing like you. So if your happy with me wearing this dress then i will not complain. Jason used to say its a day where lovers show their appreciation. I found it pointless because shouldnt that be done daily." I said
"I understand" he said nodding.
"Oh my god, you're and you're" the waitress said
All might shushed her.
She nods. I take her notebook and sign it. And hand it to toshi. He does the same.
"Happy Valentines day kid" i said handing it back.
She was super happy then left.
We chuckle.
"Do you miss it" i asked
"Miss what" he asked
"Being a hero" i asked
"I do at times. But now im retired i can focus on midoriya and you and our future." He said
I blush slightly.
"You miss it too" he said
"Well im not retired. But i miss the rush, and danger. Im a thrill seaker" i shrugged.
He smirked.
"I knew that from the start" he said
Soon after we ate lunch we went to the theater. He had tickets to an action movie. There were couples here being lovey-dovey and stuff and were going to the romantic movie.
I look at toshi.
"You sure you dont want to see that movie like them" i asked
"No, i think youd be uncomfortable. So i got this one. Its an action movie" he said
"Thanks" i said
Hes doing things for me and i feel like shit. I cant do things for him.
The movie wasnt bad, i instantly ws into it. Damn did jason give him hints.
After we went to dinner. It was public. I felt even more out of place.
"You okay" he asked me.
"Fine" i said
He looks concerned. We had dinner. Then went for a walk. I held his hand and we went to the night market. It was full of lovers of all types.
Then he saw roses and got me one.
"Thank you" i said
"I figured a buch would make you uncomfortabke." He said
"Your very conciderate" i said
"Its your first valentines day since your mom passed so i wanted to make you feel happy." He said
"Jason told you." I said
"Yeah i asked. Anyway what dud you used to do for your mother" he asked
I clear my throat.
"Well i drew her pictures and gave her flowers i took from the neighbors yard. She loved all of it. She would get me chocolates in return. And dad would get me flower crowns" i said
"Sounds good" he said
I hadnt noticed we were above the city on a hill now.
The lights were beautiful. And i saw a few firworks. Is this what people do on valentines day.
"Zina" he said
I look to him. He was looking nervous.
"Um, i have a question for you." He said
"Ask away" i said
He got to the ground and dug in his pants.
"I feel like im rushing but i can't feel more right about this. I dont know if its about us being soulmates or i love you of my own will. But i want to be with you offically." He said
"Thats not a question" i said
He sighs.
"No its a confession. Im telling you how much i love you and i continue to love you. Everyday you fill my heart with joy and happiness. So zina will you marry me?" He asked and held a ring in his fingers.
