Percy's POV:

After breaking free of my prison, I soared up into the mushroom cloud, concealed within the smoke and flames ascending from the huge crater below. I drifted the few miles to camp unhurriedly, slowly gaining back the energy I had used making the cell go poof! The clouds floated by at an unhurried pace and a gentle breeze blew back my spiky, unruly hair. I concentrated on sending all remaining power to heal me, which in turn gained me even more energy. Then, half a mile away from camp, I saw it.

The campers were being herded like sheep into a huge metal cage, one designed specifically for group torture. Every bar was spiked with cruel metal and barbed wire, drawing blood from the skin of those who touched it. Each camper was tied to a bar around the cage, their arms looped around it and the the spikes impaling their bodies. I turned to look for my Warriors and what I saw made my vision tint a dark black colour.

Truth, Bomb, Sonic and Wings were tied to a stake surrounded by logs soaked in petrol, beaten and bloodied. They had obviously put up a tremendous fight. But Hunter and Golden were by far the worst. Hunter lay limp in Golden's arms, tied to them and unconscious. Golden himself was struggling to support her, half awake and with nearly every bone in his back snapped beyond repair. It pained me to see my loyal friends reduced to this. Suddenly, a voice boomed over the strawberry fields...

"Poor poor little campers, where is your saviour now?"

Gaia.

"It seems that you have been left alone to face the wrath of the mighty primordial of the Earth...me! Oh! And look here, the little warriors seem to have no power to stop me! I wonder why? Hmmmmmm." Gaia acted deep in thought, but in reality she knew and was just procrastinating. "Oh I know!" Everyone hung onto her words, wanting to know why they were so weak. "You are weak because your faithful little commander, otherwise known as Perseus Jackson, is dead!"  Screams of horror came from my warriors, the sounds mixing in with sobbing from the campers, as all grieved for their 'lost' commander and friend. But I couldn't help them yet. I had to see what was going on. Just then, the ground rumbled and a mighty boom made even the earth primordial stagger and a golden flash blinded everyone.

Third person POV:

The commander stayed hidden in the shadows, his rage ever growing, as the  light cleared away and revealed the Gods of Olympus standing there, led by the Big Three.

"Gaia," Zeus thundered (ha ha), "release our children and Chaos' Warriors at once! "

"And why should I do that?" Gaia questioned. "You puny Gods are no match for me, I mean, look at Poseidon. He is broken because I killed his son, you and Hades cannot do anything because that would risk the welfare of your children and the others are not strong enough to defeat me! In fact, I'm getting rather bored of you. Guards!"

And just like to that, the primordial snapped her fingers and the gods were chained, all helpless against her might. Well, all but one.
