Warning! Slightly graphic torture scenes ahead!
Percy's POV:
I awoke with a gasp, head jerking upright, to find my worst nightmares really could come true! I was in Tartarus again. A cold laugh ripped me from my thoughts as a hidden door swung open, and Kronos, Prometheus and Oceanus walked in.
"So, the little hero of Olympus has finally returned. I thought I'd killed you!" I grinned up at Kronos and replied in my best sarcastic voice, "I guess good things never last long, huh? To be honest, I thought I'd killed you! Suppose we all wish for the impossible sometimes!" He snarled in anger, before grabbing his old scythe, backbiter, and advancing on me. With a roar he raised his weapon and brought it down upon my body in cold, agonising slashes. All I could think was 'oooowwwwwww!' Yeah, having your soul ripped from your body can majorly suck!
"My turn! My turn!" Prometheus sang as he waltzed up to me, carrying a thin coil of wire. "So Perseus, will you answer our questions or will I have to use this little beauty after all?"
"What do you want to know?" I asked, curious and in pain.
"Why aren't you dead? Where have you been? What are the camps war plans?"
"First of all, I was dead, but am not anymore, at least...I think so...? Where I was is none of your business and the same with the camp plans!" Frustrated, Prometheus seized the wire and, grinning like a psychopath as he did so, proceeded to open my mouth and force the jagged wire down my trachea. I screamed out loud for the first time as the metal broke through my belly button and out, leaving my insides burning and me with the oh so healthy wish for death. But that wasn't the end...
Hello! My name is line break and I like ice-cream!!!!!
I have been here for two weeks now and I swear if I could I would have died long ago. But no! Here I was stuck in eternal torture while the world above is fighting for its life. Clenching my fists in anger at the thought of being helpless, I gave a hiss of pain as my second set of nails dug into my palm. Yes, you heard me right, my second set. You see, Oceanus has this fascination with slowly and agonisingly pulling every single one of my fingernails out in front of my eyes, then eating them! I'm not sure how many times I puked at the disgusting stuff he has done.
Suddenly, the all too familiar creaking sound of my cell door opening brought me back to reality.
"Well hello young Perseus! Or is it commander? We have something very special planned for you today, are you sure you don't want to answer our questions?."
"Positive," I spat, that one word using up all the energy I had left. You are probably wondering why I haven't broken free and knocked them all in to the middle of next week yet? Well, I'll tell you. The problem is, I can't! I am chained with End Chains that suck all the life, energy and power out of an immortal and can kill mortals and demigods if they come into contact with them. But for the first time ever, in the whole time I have been tortured, they took my chains off. As Kronos dragged me down a hallway, I could already feel some of my strength returning, but it was too late. We entered a huge room, painted all in black, with ancient red writing scrawled upon the walls. In the centre there was a tall red pillar, wrapped in red chains that seemed to spark, and flame. They really have this thing with red, don't they? I wondered as they pulled me to the pillar and chained me, again!
There was this weird humming sound, seemingly coming from inside the pillar!
"You know," sneered Oceanus," this glorious torture was originally built for your father, Chaos. But, since he's not here, you will have to do I suppose! Have fun!" He strolled away, as though he was taking a walk in the park, the doors slamming behind him with an ominous sounding BOOM!
The humming sound grew louder, a droning noise that went on and on and on. All of a sudden, crash! I was yanked back in time,to the scene of my betrayal. Agony coursed through my body, as the power of lightening a hundred times as lethal as the Masterbolt combined with the agony of my betrayal, snapped me. I gave an inhumane roar and grew three times my size as thunder boomed and a storm grew above. I'd had enough!
Luke's POV:
I could feel Percy's pain. Feel it ramming through my head with the force of a thousand rhinos. Betrayal like a thousand Masterbolts. I fell to one knee by the ping pong table, where we had been having an war strategy meeting, gasping for air. He was angry, very angry. Nothing good came of that. I became distantly aware of the campers shouting my name, and struggled to reply.
"I'm fine-" gasp"-its Percy!-"gasp"- he's angry-"gasp"-danger!" And with that I fell to the ground unable to speak now. Abruptly, the pain stopped. I climbed to my feet, wincing, and spoke to the now silent room. "Percy is in trouble. The reason I was in pain was because I am his second in command and have a sort of special mindlink with him. We can tell when the other is hurt, and feel the same pain, though on a much lower scale. That was excruciating, we have to help Percy!"
Suddenly, in the distance we heard a 'boom!' Running outside we saw a huge mushroom cloud covering a hill in the distance, but worse than that, the huge army waiting just outside to ambush us as we left the meeting. The campers lay bound and gagged, surrounded by monsters, each with a knife to their throat!
