When I woke, it was feeling the most refreshed I had been since before the Giant War. When I had still loved that traitor, Annabeth. Don't think of her I told myself. Focus on your new life. I pushed down the pain and wandered off to explore my new home.
I wandered down another of those never ending corridors, when I tensed at feeling a presence appear next to me. "Sorry Perseus," apologised the voice. I looked up to see Chaos walking next to me. "I did not mean to make you jump!" I flinched for a second time at the use of my old name. "It's Commander Omega now." I explained tonelessly. "Of course, I was just wondering if you wanted to meet your new troops Commander."
"Kay." I said sighing.
Time skip to outside training arena in Chaos' Palace
"Now Commander, I am warning you, do not be too shocked when we meet the Elite. Shall we go then?" And with that Chaos strolled in.
Chaos' POV:
I was worried at how Perseus would take it when he saw his old dead friends, and whether he would welcome one of them as his friend again. Nevertheless, I pushed the doors open and walked in.
Percy's POV:
I was shocked to say the least. Whirling around the room were old friends that had died in battle. Silena, Beckendorf, Will Solace, Bianca do Angelo, Zoe Nightshade and. Oh gods. Luke! "Uh-" an astonished noise escaped out of my mouth and everyone froze before turning slowly and noticing us for the first time. "Percy?" Bianca asked. "Is it you?" I nodded numbly, causing her and Silena and everyone apart from Luke to doggy pile me.
"Guys, you're choking me!" They scrambled off and I approached Luke, son of Hermes cautiously. "Luke? Is that you?"
"Hey, listen, I'm so sorry for what happened in the Titan war and I was, uh, hoping that I could make amends by joining Chaos' army, soooo do you forgive me?" He gabbled in a hurried sentence. "Welcome to the party, man" I joked and we both laughed and turned to the rest of the group again.
"Percy," asked a gentle voice, it was Silena. "Why are you here, you didn't die did you?"
"No, and it's not Percy anymore, it's Omega." Everyone looked at me in shock, wondering what had happened to me go make me so cold, probably. Chaos cleared his throat and I looked at him to see him beckoning me over, along with the rest of the group. "Right," he exclaimed. "Let's get training!"
I gave him a silent thank you for distracting them so they wouldn't ask questions about why I was here, before heading off with my new family.
At camp: Chiron's POV:
Where has that good for nothing son of Poseidon got to? I wondered as I crossed the clearing to the circle of cabins, heading for number 3. Percy hasn't been seen since he was summoned to Olympus. I entered the cabin to find it empty, Mark our hero must be off training. I wondered what I had ever seen in that traitor, Perseus Jackson. My eyes feel upon his bed then, and I spied a piece of paper folded up with the words 'Camp Half Blood' written on them. I unfolded it and began to read.
Dear Campers,
This is Percy, the guy you forgot existed. I am just letting you know that I am leaving the camp because it is obvious I am not wanted anymore. By the time you read this I will be probably long gone so DON'T look for me, you will not find me.
