Back to the present

"I can't believe you actually considered it, Lexa. Leaving my people to Cage just to save your own? Luna was right, the alliance would have broken. Not only that but then she would've come here for nothing since she agreed to help us both." Clarke was clearly mad at Lexa. "Clarke, I'm sorry! I would never do anything to hurt you-" "But you almost did!" Clarke then stormed out of their room. Lexa attempted to follow her but when she got outside she lost sight of her. She decided to see Luna. Luna was in her tent cleaning her sword when Lexa suddenly barged in causing Luna to draw her sword on Lexa before realizing it was her. "Sorry." Luna spoke as she slowly lowered her sword. Lexa shook it off. "I told her. She got mad, Luna and I don't know where she went." Luna sighed and looked up. "The only other place she knows. Home. Probably to her mom. Possibly Raven and Octavia. But she's smart enough not to tell them what happened...hopefully. She knows that if words gets out, the alliance would break." Lexa then thought of something. "That's it! The alliance is what's keeping us bonded right now. If people don't see Clarke and I together they'll get suspicious. That'll mean Clarke and I will have to be together at some point again. Then we could talk."
Raven and Octavia's room
While laying together asleep for a nap, Raven and Octavia woke up to a knock on the door. "I got it." Octavia said half asleep crawling out of bed. "Clarke? What are you doing here?" "Umm, hi Octavia. I'm sorry I shouldn't of come, I didn't know where else to go." Octavia, still clearly tired was trying to process what she said as Clarke started to turn around to leave. "Clarke?" Raven said as she shot up from the bed. Clarke turned back around to face them again. "Hey, I don't want to disturb, I'll leave you guys alone." Raven tiredly rubbing her eyes spoke. "No no it's ok, come in." Octavia stepped aside from the door to let Clarke enter. "So what's going on? Why aren't you back with Lexa? Finally decide to move back home to Arkadia with your favorite friends?" Octavia joked. "I need to tell you both something. But you can't let anyone know. If word gets out then the alliance will suffer." They could both tell Clarke was very serious so they go prepared to listen.
Lexa's Room
When it was soon night time and Clarke never came back home (which Lexa figured she wasn't going to) she started to get ready for bed. Just as she was about to blow out the final candle the door swung open. Lexa fastly turned around, ready to grab her sword from the side of her bed. Until she recognized the face. "Clarke? You're back?" Clarke came closer. "I'm mad at you. You know this. But you also know that if we aren't acting like 'best buds' in front of everyone then they'll get suspicious. Well, that's what Raven told me." "Raven? You told them both didn't you? That was a bad idea Clarke. There's a chance word will get out. It would have been a better chance if just the three of us knew." Clarke scoffed. "Maybe it would have been better if you just knew. You chose to drag Luna into it and you say Luna was pressuring you to tell me. Maybe, just maybe, you should've told no one. Then we would be sleeping in that bed right now." Clarke then decided to say what she was originally there to say. "Obviously we have to stay close for the alliance. I'll take the room next door. But you and me? It's over Lexa? Now let's see if you can keep that to yourself." Clarke then proceeded to leave and slammed the door behind her. Lexa heard the echo of Clarke's door slamming. She knew that the only way to make the alliance work and get back with Clarke was to be close to Clarke. She decided that if the only thing keeping them together is the alliance, then she would take advantage of that and everytime they were together, Lexa decided to try and get closer to Clarke. She would so whatever it takes to regain Clarke's trust. And eventually...her love again. Even though Lexa knew Clarke still loved her. After all, there's no way she would've fallen out of love with Lexa that fast. And they both knew it. Clarke knew she still loves Lexa. Lexa knows Clarke still loves her. But now... Now she has to fight to get her back, no matter what it would take. Lexa would risk anything for Clarke. Anything.
