A New Era

"Hey Octavia, I have to go. Promised I would help the grounders learn guns and technology better." Raven stumbled out of bed and told Octavia what she was going to do for the day. "Well be safe. I'm here if you need me." Raven nodded and left after getting dressed. Octavia turned back over and fell asleep. After all it was only 6 in the morning. Octavia figured she deserves to sleep in as long as she wanted on the days she didn't train.

As Raven was teaching the grounders how to load a gun, a familiar voice was heard. "Getting them ready for the next war?" Raven turned around to see Luna laughing at her own joke. "Hey! You're up early." Raven have her a quick hug and they went to sit down hoping the grounders wouldn't accidentally shoot each other wwhile they stepped away. "Guns, huh? What will they need them for?" Everyone was aware that Luna wasn't very supportive of guns. She preferred swords and knifes. Anything with a blade. "Kane and Lexa agreed with each other that it would be a good thing in case of danger against any new threat to come our way." Luna nodded. Not knowing what to say next, Raven said the first thing that came to her mind to break the silence. "I never actually heard what made you decide to stay hear instead for going back to your clan." "Well I formed close bonds. Lexa and I played catch up and actually got a lot closer. Then I got close with Octavia fighting by her side during the war. I spent time with Clarke going through battle plans. Something I never thought I would bond over." Both girls chuckled. "Then there's you." Raven looked up at Luna, eager to know what she was going to say. "We spent a lot of time together since I had to protect you. So I had the best time with you out of everyone. I also spent the most time with you and it's kinda hard not to like you." Luna winked and smiled then stood up leaving Raven in shock. "I think your 'friends' have the guns loaded." Luna nudged her head in the direction of the grounders who were just about done loading the guns. "I'll leave you to it." Raven just stayed there in shock. She began thinking to herself.
Was she flirting with me? Obviously not. Right? I mean, she knows I'm with Octavia. Maybe I just had a misunderstanding. But my question is...why did I like it?
