After spending an entire day pretty much sleeping and giving yourself time to think about the fact that your father has actually passed away, you get back to work the next day.

Many customers have walked into the store although you don't mind too much even though Tetsuro thinks it is unhealthy for you to go back to work so soon. In the end, you of course won, arguing that it would keep you distracted and busy, leaving Tetsuro to just have to wait and check on you during lunch time.

You feel slightly distracted by the thoughts of your father throughout the day but you keep yourself busy.

You haven't been as close to him since opening your shop, both him and Kotaro's mother not approving of your work choices. Understanding why he decided to be against such things never really got through to you. You opened a shop of your own, a business where you earn money. It's not like you're on the streets begging people to buy your stuff.

It's something you've been quite confused about but you'll never really know. The last time you saw him was a little over two years ago, visiting him after being called due to him passing out from overworking himself.

After that, he was forced to retire but you haven't seen him since. The most you have done since then is call him although his wife was never happy with him speaking to you.

She is the one who raised you after your mother died, helped make you who you are today. It's confusing as to why she is so against you now since from what you know, you've done nothing wrong.

Kotaro has stayed and supported you when they would not, the two of you being pretty close together. Once he had Katsu, you drifted off a little bit but you would still call and visit every now and then to keep in touch.

It's sad to know your dad died but you know Kotaro is probably hurting more since he was a lot closer to him.

In the end, the pain will fade but you will still have the memories of F/n. You just wish that you would have been informed when it happened.

These thoughts float through your mind throughout the day and stick more as business slows down slightly.

Tetsuro ends up being a little late to bring you lunch after having to finish two different paintings for the day. When you feel strong arms wrap around your waist and the nice smell of oak and black cherry enter your nose, you smile and lean back against him. "Someone's a little late," you tease with a giggle.

"I had to finish an extra painting," he says, kissing the top of your head.

You turn around in his arms and kiss him on the lips. "I'm just glad you came."

"Well, you have a customer. I'll be helping for the rest of the day and you need to eat."

"Yes sir!" you say with a laugh, turning back around. "Saeko! Hi," you say, smiling as you bring the next choice for her from under the counter.

She smiles. "Hey Y/n." She notices Tetsuro standing behind you with his chin on your head and raises an eyebrow. "Your boyfriend?" she questions.

"Yeah, this is Tetsuro."

He knocks himself out of whatever daze he was in and asks, "What happened?"

"Pay attention bedhead."

He just shrugs and you shake your head at him as Saeko pays for the flowers. "Anyway, yeah, this is Tetsuro. Tetsuro, this is Saeko."

"Nice to meet you," he says, holding a hand out.
