You stand there with no emotion on your face as your eyes look into Kenji's, your body pressed against Tetsuro's.

Sensing how uncomfortable you are, Tetsuro leans down near your ear and whispers, "Let's go Y/n."

You nod, your eyes quickly looking away from Kenji's as you turn away. You lean into Tetsuro's side as you walk away from Kenji and the woman he is with.

"Sorry about freezing up," you quietly say, able to feel Tetsuro's eyes on you.

"Don't apologize. You were together for two years," he tells you.

"I know, I just- Ahhh I don't know." You sigh and pull Tetsuro over to a nearby bench, sitting down onto it. "I know I don't have feelings for him anymore, none. He hurt me to the point that I don't care for him but I guess there is that part of me that is just stuck in the past without realizing so," you admit, scared your words are going to hurt Tetsuro or make him angry with you.

You feel surprised when Tetsuro pulls your body against him, his arm wrapped around you. You decide to turn and lay on his lap so you can see his face. "What was that for?"

"Because." He looks down at you and sighs. "If you're still stuck in the past, even a little, that is fine. In the end, we are together and I trust you and love you more than anything. Kenji is out of your life at this point and a thing of the past. You may see him out and about but all that will do is show him what he lost. We both know I will show off the fact that you're mind if I have to too."

You giggle and reach your hands up to squeeze his cheeks. "Yeah, I know. I'm glad you're mine and only mine. No one else can have you or I may have to hurt someone."

"It's the same both ways around Angel. Now, let's get to the restaurant. Are you wanting to eat there before or after we walk, or would you rather eat at home?"

"Eating before we walk sounds good to me. We can make it like the double date except no alcohol and only us," you say, sitting up from your position.

"Let's go then." He pulls you into a quick kiss before you both get up from the bench and walk to the restaurant.

It isn't long before you arrive and head inside to sit down. You get put at a booth table due to multiple other couples being here, sliding into your seats. Rather than sitting across from each other, you slide into the booth next to him with a giggle.

"Perfect," you say, leaning against his shoulder. He smiles at you and the two of you begin looking through the menu.

You talk throughout the meal, laughing and giggling with each other as you eat. To think that you would be with Tetsuro is weird sometimes. You were with someone for two years before the relationship ended and now is with someone who, in the beginning, you sold roses to on a daily basis.

It's interesting to think back on but you are very happy this way. You hadn't realized just how unhappy you were with Kenji and how unwell he had actually treated you sometimes. The way Tetsuro treats you makes you feel good about yourself and the relationship.

In the end, both of you are happy with the relationship. Tetsuro loves having you as his. He had begun to like you when first finding your flower shop and never stopped buying roses there after feeling captivated by your beauty.

Each time he went into the boutique, the two of you talked a little. It was never a whole conversation, but it was enough to make him more interested with each time he saw you.
