This fanfic is for my friend Adel and is currently the longest fanfic, enjoy:
You walked up the mountain with ease, looking at your surroundings. You stared at the few feet that were left of the mountain up ahead, making towards your destination. It was beautiful out and you loved the view, different from when you were back at your home lands. As you hiked, you looked around the rocks in awe and made sure you did'nt slip. You've been hiking for about a good 2 hours, took a few breaks and went back to jogging peacefully. You were an elf by the way, you would'nt see many elves just jogging about- especially in your home lands. You were simply a mage elf, and living in the mage colony.. you had to work. You did'nt have time to jog, you did'nt have time to hike, you just had time to work on your magic to get ready for the arenas.
You wished you could be more like the dragons as you walked. The creatures so misunderstood and having so many opportunities whilst you had to "Keep your wand straight" or "Work on your magic." You always believed that dragons were just like wild animals, frolicking about. Without a care in the world and did'nt have to do anything of the sort.
You continued to jog up the hill, distracted as you thought of the dragons. Dragons in your colony were hated, your family did'nt like the sight of them. You always grew up loving dragons though, as a mage elf yourself.. you wanted to meet on-
You almost slipped off of the mountain.
You gained your balance and shimmied over to the closest thing you could hold on. You would catch your breath, sighing in relief.
"Close call, was'nt it?" A warm and calm voice would be heard from above the rocks.
You would get startled, looking around to where the sound was.
"Oh- I did'nt mean to startle you-"
You looked around in a bewildered expression, "Where are you?! Who's talking right now?"
The rocks under you began to crack under your feet, and you got even more scared. Nearing to crack through, something that you were holding pulls you up to saftey. You were holding onto.. a tail? The tail had scales on it, a very basic kind of blue color. You looked at the tail for a moment.. then you looked at the 11 foot figure that sat down ontop of the rocks.
This was a dragon-
You could'nt believe your eyes- no.. you could'nt even believe what you were looking at! A dragon saved your life, and did'nt even eat you yet. You've always wanted to meet a dragon, and excitement overwhelmed you. You were so fond to ask the dragon questions. Getting a better looked at the dragon, you recognized the same blue dragon that was told about over and over again.. this was the legendary Sin'aoi. You were suprised but you were'nt to sure.. You heard the tales of this ice dragon. But of course, if there was another blue dragon then there would always be one more.
"Y-You're a dragon!"
"Yeah- I am.. I mean- atleast I think I am." He would say pretty jokingly, "What's an elf like you doing out here? Especially a uh-.. whatchamacallit, the mage elves.."
You would begin to explain about your hike up the hill, it was put into a small summary. The dragon nodded, understanding that a mage elf would go out of there way to venture. This dragon isn't what you expected. 'FEAR THE ONES OF CURSED FLAMES" you'd always hear. You were told of how corrupt and dangerous the dragons were to the elves and how much they needed to be hunted. This one was quite calm though, he was quite nice to talk to.. and of course he helped you.
"You're hiking, understandable. The mountain here can crumble on you so you have to be careful. I think you should get going, there's a route you can take to go down.."
