THE ELITE
In the bridge of Timothy's Flagship: Aphrodite, he sits on his modern chair and stares seriously at the hologram. Meanwhile, Nether stands beside his chair as he stares at the same direction as Timothy's. "Your Excellency, you're looking at the hologram very intently. What's on your mind?" Nether asks.
"This plan must work." He answers in a slight shaky voice.
"I thought you believed in them."
"I do. I really do. It's just that— something is making me feel uneasy."
"And you don't know why, Your Excellency?"
"Yes. I just hope that they will be fine while were here."
"Sir, everything is ready as you commanded sir." A soldier salutes.
Nether turns to face him and gives the salute back. "Thank you."
"Sir yes sir!" The soldier salutes before Nether signals him to leave the bridge.
As the door closes, he turns to Timothy and reports, "Your Excellency, your fleet is ready to use hyperdrive."
"Proceed." Timothy commands.
"Activate hyperdrive!"
All of them in the control room readies for hyperdrive. They put their seatbelts on and put in the correct coordinates to Aurora.
"Engine one ready!"
"Engine two, ready!"
"Engine three ready!"
"Four, ready!"
"Main engine, ready!"
"Hyperdrive, ready!"
They say.
"Waiting for your command, Your Excellency." Nether says while sitted on a chair near Timothy.
"Carry on." Timothy replies. And by that, they instantly arrive in Aurora. A large trading port near Resistance. "We have sent the signal. Am I right?"
"Yes, Your Excellency."
"Good, ready the decoys and contact the gamers."
"Of course sir." Nether holds a tablet to communicate with the others within Aphrodite and commands them to prepare the decoys for launch. Then contacts the gamers, "We're about to launch the decoys."
"On it Commodore!" Tanner replies.
"It seem they are on their way to the control room, Your Excellency."
Timothy stands up and places both his hands behind him. His hands shake a bit. "Why do I feel uneasy? I felt fine when I saw them."
"Calm down for a bit sir."
"I don't know if it's the gamers or the decoys."
"Do you want us to check the decoys first before we launch them?"
He looks at Nether, uncertain what to say next. "I think——"
