Doctor Say What?

Hey guys so I changed the story just a bit.  I guess you'll see what changed if you read on, but if it really bothers you then I guess you could reread the first chapter.

The last week has been wonderful.  Brent asked me on a date tonight and now I'm sitting in the cafeteria with Amy and Jade gushing over what I'm going to wear.  We're taking it slow so I can adjust to him being a werewolf and him knowing that I'm a rejected mate.  It's good though, we have control and everything's perfect.  The only thing that's been out of place are the dagger like stares Tyler has been giving me.  Everytime I catch his eyes, all I see is disgust but in the end I still feel the sparks.  Not only that, but once I caught a hint of lust in one of his stares that left me forever more confused.

I decided to ignore it and focus on my lunch.  Then I saw Brent heading over with a tray piled with food. Teenage werewolf boys...  they eat so much.  But the sight of him made my mouth water.  He had on a white t-shirt that outlined his muscles, with jeans.  Just knowing his eight-pack was hiding under that white t-shirt made my mind go crazy.

Bad Katy, Bad Katy, I should not be thinking about it right now.

"Hey baby, you look beautiful."  Brent said.  I blushed while Amy and Jade were wiggling their eyebrows.

"And you look hot!"  I blurted.  Making Brent and the girls laugh.

"Well then would you like a sneak peek of me?"  Brent whispered in my ear.  Of course with wolf hearing, everyone else on the table heard it too and they all started to snicker.

Oh yeah did I mention that Brent's friends sit with us now.  Turns out a few of them were werewolves who never had the fill in of Brent being a werewolf.  It stayed that way, but Amy found her mate in that group and now they can't keep their hands off each other.  His name's David and he's a pretty cool guy. Now back to Brent and his mischievious self.

"Depends on whether or not you can handle me."  I whispered back, winking at him.  He chuckled.

"Baby I'm pretty sure I can handle you."  He said as his face got closer to mine.

"Are you sure about that... baby?"  I teased as I pressed my hands on his thighs.  He tensed up as I knew his friend down there was probably getting hard.  I started to then rub my hands on his abs.

Then out of nowhere a growl ripped out from all directions.  Thank god the human students didn't notice, well then again it's not like they were ever that attentive anyways.  But all the werewolves heard it, that's for sure.  All eyes secretly landed on Tyler at his corner of the cafeteria with that bimbo Leah on his lap.  Leah was trying to calm him, but she's not his mate.  It would never work.  He was mad.  No he was furious.  What's even more horrifying was that he was staring right at me.  His eyes looked deadly, and his hands were in fists with knuckles that were white.  His body was shaking and he looked like moments away from shifting.  I was on Brent's lap facing him with my fingers still on Brent's abs.

Smart ass Brent caught on and pulled me closer.  Another growl ripped through the room, and this time a few of the humans caught on and were looking around.  I had to stop this before Tyler gets this out of hand.  I gently pushed Brent away from me and got off his lap.  We checked Tyler and he has only calmed the slightest bit.  Finally he just closed his eyes, grabbed Leah's arm and left.

"Well wasn't that interesting?" Jade asked.  She's never been a big fan of Tyler.

All of a sudden I started getting sweaty  and uncomfortable.

"Hey guys I'm gonna go out and get some fresh air, it's pretty stuffy in here." I said.

"I'll come with you." Brent said.
